“Very pleasantly surprised”

My wife and our two grandchildren were visiting family in Brooklyn and decided to try a hotel closer to the airport because the ones we had been to in Brooklyn were not very nice. I was expecting something along the lines of where we had stayed before, small rooms, noise, not very clean...boy were we shocked. The place was immaculate. The fine folks at the reception desk were very nice and professional. They had us checked in in a couple of minutes and we went up to our room. The room was large, the linens spotless and the beds were beautifully made. The bathroom was very nice and everything was clean. The bed was more comfortable than the one I have at home. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but it was something and the kids seemed to enjoy it. I have paid much more for much less in Brooklyn. This is my new hotel of choice when I go to visit, I was very satisfied with my stay and I will come back for sure.

“Good for overnight stay before JFK departure”

My boyfriend and I stayed at La Quinta for a night before taking an early morning flight out of JFK. Overall the hotel staff was very nice and our check in was efficient. The room was clean and nice and had a small fridge and microwave. My only complaints would be that the neighborhood was a bit sketchy, we didnt leave at all. While I didn't feel "unsafe" staying there, I certainly wouldnt go wandering around at all. Also, the hotel is on a main road and the entrance to park your car is barely visible and incredibly narrow. We had to go around the building a few times before figuring it out. Also the lot to park in is literally like 6 spaces and also incredibly narrow. Luckily we were just being dropped off, but the lot is very inconvenient. There is a free airport shuttle on the hour which was nice also. Overall I would recommend it for accessibility to the airport, but not if youre trying to visit NYC.

Good enough for an overnight stay. If you're planning to go around manhattan and you dont have a car, better get another hotel in a better neighborhood.

“The only hotel you need for JFK”

I have stayed in numerous hotels, but this one really deserves a mention. The staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous, the rooms are impeccable, the whole experience faultless, transfer time to JFK around 5 minutes There is no point in writing a long review that no ne will read....so all you need to know is I scored it 5/5 across the board.....if you need a hotel for JFK stay here.

well it was a one night stay. The complimentary shuttle bus was already at airport, 10 mn and I'm at hotel. Staff at reception were great and professional. Room was sufficiently big and clean. Bed and bathroom well above expectation.

The hotel is very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, free breakfest oustanding, room with fridge, microwive, coffee maker and free internet in the room is very handy. I recommend this hotel to every traveler who wish to stay close tothe airport.

“Great hotel in Queens”

Went to a family event in the area and only needed a room for one night, and this hotel was the closest. VERY surprised at how nice this place was. The room was pretty small but it had a great TV, washroom and bed. The bed deserves lots of mention. It was one of, if not the best, beds I have ever slept on AND the pillows were simply spectacular as well. We had to drive home 10 hours the next day and we did not want to get out of that great, great bed. Free parking in NYC is also a huge bonus, and the parking lot is hidden from any of the streets. The area may look a little rough but it's a pretty good spot. A short drive to Atlantic Ave, Liberty Ave or Jamaica and you've got plenty of places to eat or shop. If you're taking transit get a cab to the Jamaica terminal. It'll only be a few dollars and it's much easier to get around from there!

“Near JFK - nowhere to walk but great overnight stay”

The clerk was friendly, the location was in the middle of nowhere, but it was later evening and I simply needed a bed near the airport. The place was clean, they had a free shuttle to and from the JFK airport. The room was fine, and they met my special needs.
