The rates are really reasonable, and the location cannot be beat. Not even a full block from the 59th street subway station with access to all the major lines through Manhattan. Tons of restaurants and shopping nearby, and quick access to Central Park

Awesome location, near columbus circle, central park, a short walk to the theater, Moma and a longer, doable walk to the Met and Guggenheim. Friendly, helpful staff. A cross between modern funky and Victorian. Not the best place for kids perhaps. They are renovating so somethings aren't quite perfect but mostly lovely!

I always stay at this hotel due to location. Was given an upgrade on check-in. Clean simple rooms. Really easy to get anywhere. Shame bar is currently being re-furbed. Wonderful staff

“Very impressed!”

This was a very nice hotel, very clean and the staff were very helpful. The room was a bit small but since it was in a great location we didn't plan on staying in much so this did not really effect us. Just a minute walk from Central Park it was lovely to take a stroll in the morning if you want peace and quiet or a 5 minute wander to times square for the hustle and bustle of the city.

“Cool vibe”

Very modern, hipster vibe to this hotel. All staff we encountered were extremely kind and helpful in every way. The room was small, but that's New York! It did, however, include all that you need. Close to the subway and to Lincoln Center where we were seeing a show, so it was walkable. They can stow your luggage upon checkout if you're planning to leave the city later in the day. There's also a casual-fare bar/restaurant in the lobby, but it turns more into a club feel at night which leaks out into the lobby and hotel entrance. There's also a great outdoor patio area that's gorgeous. All in all I'd definitely recommend this place, particularly to younger visitors.
