“perfect for exploring Montreal”
I traveled alone and didn't know much about Montreal before arriving. This was a great location for me. . I had the small room with a murphy bed, which really is tiny, but i was here to go explore, not sit in a room. They did have free wifi, a morning croissant, water, juice, and coffee. It was a few blocks over to the base of Mont Royal, a short walk to a bixi and the metro, and is surrounded by lots of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. only drawback is that there is a jazz club in the basement level of this building, so you could faintly hear the live music. It might bother some people, but I didn't mind.
“Great, comfy place”
Great place! Comfy! Friendly staff! I don't really want to write any more, not because of how I feel about this hotel, but because I am just not feeling very verbose right now. Unfortunately this review form won't accept a brief review so I am forced to fill this space with rambling. I hope you enjoy this rambling as much as I enjoyed my stay at the Anne ma soeur.

“Right in the heart of it”
Not only is the Anne ma Soeur Anne right in the heart of Latin Quarters, in an easily accessible hip area, but parking is around the corner, some the best restaurants, simple metro stops, feels like you live there. Love have croissants at the door ever morning, a small kitchen, spacious room, and a comfortable bed. Wonderfully done.
“Just perfect and so easy”
In the heart of Rue St Denis with easy access to food, fun and fashion! Anne ma souer Anne was a great, quite place for us to rest our heads after days of exploring Montreal and all it has to offer. The location is perfect, easy access to two Metro stops and hundreds of restaurants, shops, and parks.
“Excellent overall experience- last-minute booking! (way better than Le Gilford)”
I booked 2 days prior to the trip, after the B&B "Le Gilford" I had booked cancelled supposedly due to a "major flooding issue" (I would never try Le Gilford again- they dump my reservation, didn't offer help finding alternate accommodations, and I still have doubts whether the plumbing problem actually happened. Honestly, it sounded like they had double-booked the room) Back to Anne, ma soeur Anne - room was spotless. Bathroom as well. Very comfortable suite with nice baywindow, view of Rue st. Denis. No noisy travelers next door to my room, at least while I stayed there (which was a surprise, being in such location) Location was a main plus. Friendly staff. Nice to wake up and find croissants waiting for you. I'll definitely go back.
“A keeper!”
This hotel was perfect for us ... convenient to where we wanted to be, charming staff and cleverly decorated room. The croissants for breakfast were almost as good as the ones in Paris! We will definitely be staying there whenever we go to Montreal ... which should be regularly since our son is now living and working there!
“Perfect for single traveler/great location”
I stayed in a small studio with a Murphy bed. Very comfortable and cozy. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the location CANNOT be beat. It was perfect for a single travel.
“Great location!”
We really liked the convenience of having a kitchenette in the room. Making our breakfast in the morning was a snap. The location was also great, full of people and various restaurants + walking distance from the subway.
“Great location”
This hotel was in a great location, surrounded by tons of restaurants, bars and shopping. The plateau is an eclectic area with lots of local color. It is a quick walk to the metro with easy access to the rest of the city. The room was nice enough but you won't spend that much time there. Too much to do!
