“Lovely staff”

Great hotel located next to Loreto metro stop. We had an excellent room with a balcony. Lady behind the counter couldnt be more helpful or friendly, despite having little/no english. But we managed and she looked out for us every step of the way. Her daughter has good english which is a bonus when more difficult questions arise. Breakfast is basic but good, v nice coffees made on site. Overall, highly recommend.

“Honest Assessment”

Upon arriving, I had to wait quite awhile while my room was being cleaned, even though I arrived after the check-in time. As I waited I was going to use the bathroom near the breakfast room but upon seeing it, decided to wait until I saw my room, figuring it would be better. When I booked the hotel, I expected a decent bathroom. One has to maneuver around the sink to use the toilet. It is a good thing I am a rather small person, as anyone with girth would hit the sink each time they sat down. The shower is the bathroom, meaning spray hits all the fixtures and anything one has in the room. The surfaces are covered with cigarette burns and stains. There is a significant amount of mold. Temperature control was a problem. It was cool enough in my room that my towel was not dry the next day, even when I just used it to wash my face the first night. That said, the staff were very friendly, the internet great, and the location central. The sheets were clean. The bed was the best part of the room. Due to the very brief duration of my stay, I did not change hotels. If I were staying any longer, I would have.
