“Not bad”

Hotel is very busy. Showed up at 1500 and room was still not ready - I guess people were checking out late. Location isn't bad - especially if you want to hang out on P.Burgos. The room was clean and comfortable.

“Comfortable accommodation”

Comfortable accommodation. Good airconditioning. Hot water is electric instantaneous. Good room size. Slightly musty smell in corridor but room was clean and fresh. Good wifi available at small extra charge. Buffet breakfast adequate but not lavish.

Hotel is located in Makati the business district of Manila. Approximately 30-45 min from Airport depending on traffic. Immediate street area appears to be night club area. Good range of eating establishments handy including Makati Ave near by. Good shopping centres within walking distance or short taxi ride.

“Third time”

Convient location with Rockwell only 60 P by taxi, and Glorietta about 80 P. Over all hotel is well maintained, but rooms are a little bit tired. Not rundown however, and I must say clean, and perfectly functional. Staff are very good, at least one star above hotel, and special compliment to the Manager who did his best and I felt specail attention towards resolving everything that came up, or just on his own looking up information for me off the internet to answer my queries. Overall, very good value for money!

“Oxford Suites- Makati”

My wife and I have stayed here two times and both times have been great. The service by all staff (front desk, restaurant, maintenance, etc) have been very helpful and respectful. The restaurant food was good, the location was good for night life. Also, it is affordable and well kept. These are the reasons that we came back for our second time. This area is always busy and never sleeps for those who like to go out all night, overall it felt like a safe area. This is a good place to stay if on business or pleasure in Manila, we were here for both. We will be staying here again the next time we are in Manila.

Area recommendations

Primary reason was business at the US Embassy which was about 20 min. by taxi. But the rest of the time was pleasure. We stay in Makati because we feel it is a nicer area than by the embassy (in our opinion).

“Awesome Hotel”

I'll start this off with this...under no circumstances should you bring a family anywhere near Makati. Do your research and you will clearly see this area caters largely to the adult, single male with a disposable income. Although only the disposable income part is a must. On to the hotel...I stayed in the junior suite for two weeks and I felt like I was staying at a 4 and a half star hotel. The room had a panoramic view of the city, was fully stocked and extremely clean. The hotel service was very polite and punctual. I would call to get my room cleaned and less than 10 minutes later the room attendant arrived. There was not a request I made that was not honored quickly and to my satisfaction. Again it cannot be stressed enough that unless you are in the area for "leisure" or business it is not a good idea to stay there. However if you know the area and what you are there for the hotel is dead in the middle of all the action. When I return to PI I will not even consider staying anywhere else.

“Decent hotel for the price”

This hotel is decent with all the usual amenities. The furniture, linens, and details in the room are a little worn out and not super luxurious, but still served their purpose. The best thing is that breakfast was included with a good variety of hot and cold items and beverages. Probably the biggest drawback is that its a bit of trek to the main shopping areas (i.e. Greenbelt Mall). However, considering the price of the room and low cost of cab fare its not so bad.

“Last minute check in”

I picked this hotel as a last minute check in prior to my flight stateside. The personnel treated my GF and I with great hospitality, respect and service. 4/5 on comfort of room due to AC settings. 4/5 on surrounding area as it is an area where there are a lot of clubs with Bargirls and street vendors pushing ED supplements. I would definitely recommend this hotel based on their quality of service and hospitality then taking a Taxi to sites of interest.

Getting around

Always ask for Metered Taxi rates, I have experienced many drivers that say "Service rate" and end up ripping you off. If they give you a Service rate, offer 1/2 of that.
