Property Amenities
The Hotel Marina Barracuda has recently undergone a refurbishment, where the common areas of the hotel and the terrace surrounding the outdoor lagoon-shaped swimming-pool (open May - Oct) have been up-dated with vibrant colours and modern designs.
New "Fun for you" rooms have been created, with funky wall designs and flat screen TV's. The Hotel Marina Barracuda, in partnership with BCM Planet Dance, one of the most well-known clubs of Mallorca, features regular pool parties with a DJ and go-go dancers. We offer Double Show View rooms, where guests can enjoy and watch the poor parties from the comfort of their own balcony.
We offer guests a choice of Room Only or All Inclusive. Group bookings and Hen & Stag parties are welcome.
The hotel offers a lively entertainment programme which is catered for with our guests in mind, with professional entertainers, in-house games and regular evening shows. Don't be afraid to join in and have fun!. The question is, who will be the most extrovert, our guests or our entertainers?!.
If guests choose the All Inclusive option, the bar serves a wide selection of National alcoholic drinks, cocktails and refreshments. A surcharge will be required for International brands.
The Hotel Marina Barracuda offers fast WiFi on an hourly or daily rate, and there are coin-operated computers with Internet access in the hall. Vending machines will ensure that guests never go hungry to bed after a late night out and there is an arcade with video games.
Tickets to various nearby attractions are available from the reception, as well as safety deposit box rental, maps of the area and other information.
The surrounding areas of the hotel, Magaluf and Palma Nova, offer a wide range of sport and leisure activities. The hotel is located only 100 meters from the beach and is close to other amenities such as supermarkets, gift shops, bars, restaurants and pubs.
We kindly inform all guests that the inside area of the Hotel Marina Barracuda is entirely smoke-free.
Rooms
The Hotel Marina Barracuda offers 264 rooms, all equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, balconies, telephones, TV's with International channels and en-suite bathrooms with combined bath and shower. All rooms have twin beds (there are no double beds available in the hotel) and all are the same size. The furnishings and view depends on the type of room which the guest has booked.
Hairdryers and irons are available from reception with a deposit on a first-come first-serve basis, where guests can also enquire about renting items such as safety deposit boxes and fridges. Wake-up calls can also be requested from reception. Housekeeping service is offered on a daily basis.
We kindly inform guests that smoking is not allowed inside the rooms.
Room Amenities
Dining
At the time of booking, guests may choose from Room Only or All Inclusive option.
Guests who book Room Only may pay for drinks and food at the hotel. Guests who book All Inclusive are entitled to breakfast, lunch and evening meals in the buffet restaurant. Plus snacks available in-between meals.
Breakfast is served from 08.00 hrs and dinner is served until 21.00 hrs. The restaurant serves International food and well-known dishes, and offers a vegetarian section, salad bar and soup option. The snack service consists of baguettes, sandwiches and hot snacks such as burgers, chips, pizza, etc. Snacks must be eaten inside the restaurant and it is not permitted to take food out.
Guests who book All Inclusive are entitled to National beverages from the bar and restaurant, a surcharge will be required for Brand and / or International beverages. Guests who book Room Only may pay for drinks as they order them.
In order to ensure effective bar service, drinks may be limited to two glasses per person, per each order.
All guests may be required to wear an identification bracelet at all times, in order for staff to identify which board basis they have booked. Guests are kindly requested to enter the restaurant correctly dressed. Those guests who wear swimwear, no t-shirts or tops, wet clothes and / or barefooted will be requested to dress correctly.
Recreation
The Hotel Marina Barracuda offers a lagoon-shaped outdoor pool, which is open from May until the end of October. The terrace beside the pool is where the BCM Planet Dance pool parties take place.

“Great Weekend Getaway”
Hotel is Close enough to all the main attractions in Magaluff & and a short walk from the beach, yet still maintains a quiet atmosphere at night. A great location for younger travellers looking for a fun packed getaway!!

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much, the staff were always available and happy to help. The room was clean and restaurant ran very efficently.
“Marina Pax Hotel. Great building and comfort, terrible evening meals”
The hotels was very clean and comfortable in August.We went all inclusive. The breakfast pack lunch and drinks were fine,.However the evening meal was not too good. The meat was very very tough and the pork chop was red raw inside.Tried again the next night to find the meat was just the same. evening meals eaten out after that.Staff very pleasentand a good quiet location.Would go again but not all inclusive.
“Marina”
When we were checking in we didn't get any information about hotel. Reception guy just gave me a key and told me that I can find a magazine in my room and read everything.....a little bit strange... Restaurant in the hotel had mainly english food.... bufet.... We had to really look to find perfectly clean dishes. Most of the plates were dirty.....and not polished....I'm a manager in the restaurant and I know all about standards and cleaning ..... I like the rooms.... Nice and clean. Everyday we've got fresh towels and clean room. Beautifull vieu from the Ballcony! Just 300m from really beautifull and clean beach! The only dissapionting thing is the Hotel Restaurant...
“Budget traveller's hotel”
This hotel is good for budget travellers and familly with children. Hotel staffs are useful for general information and friendly. Hotel restuarant food is ok if you are on budget. Good location, only 5 mins walk down to beach, shops, restaurants etc, noisey if you have loud guests next door as while i was staying, they just banning doors and shouting names etc, generally guests are sort of low qualifty as most on budgets, behaviour are bad. It is a typical British resorts, therefore you need to expecting some Typical behaviours, such as drunk people, shouting, expecting not seeing international guests at all, but British around the area. I suggest if you do not have budget limitation, stay in Palma, from Palma to this place or other area, taxi only cost around 30 euros maxmum. No points to rent a car at all,but you can rent a scotter, some scotter rental companies are a bit doggy, they ask for passport original, never give them away your passport, you can give them a copy or driving licenece copy, but never leave origianl documents to them regardless what they say. Good place for sunbathing.
“Good Location and Great Food”
Good Location in a fantastic resort. The food certainly caters for British tastes,great breakfasts includes black pudding and fried bread! Drinks are served in plasic cups which I did not particularily like. The biggest letdown for this hotel is the really thin walls, you can hear everything side to side and above..not very nice when inconsiderate guests arrive back at 3 in the morning and start shouting etc for another hour. This is a 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for. Only had a short break (4 days) can't wait to go back to the resort as there is so much to do, but I will probably book another (4*)hotel.
“Not the best”
The room always felt damp, lighting was minimal. Beds were uncomfortable, food was average. If you're looking for a cheap, no-frills experience (just a place to crash), it's fine. If you're looking for a comfortable, relaxing room, look elsewhere.
