“Not impressed”

It took us about 30 minutes of walking to figure out which way we needed to take the subway into town. Once we figured that out we were able to come and go. Hardly any restaurants near the hotel. The hotel room was clean, but they did not supply the small soap you usually get when you spend a night in a hotel. I'd probably stay somewhere else.

“Far from the city center, not sufficient hot water”

The hotel is 15 minutes walking to the metro stop, 25 min metro ride to the center. The shower was broken, the jet tub can be filled only with 1/3 of hot water. The hotel has a limited hot water for the apartment. There is no central heat, no central A/C.

“HORRIBLE LOCATION”

The hotel itself is not bad, although the people at the desk barely spoke english and were not helpful at all. The room was nice, but pushed two single beds together to form a double, which was really annoying. They even had separate sheets. However, the location was horrible. At least a 30 minute/15 Euro cab ride from anywhere in the city and not a good area to walk around in at night. The metro stop is pretty far and a really long ride into the city as well. The walk was not good with luggage. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. We could have had a much better one if you consider the amount we spent on cabs getting home at night. Don't listen to reviews that say the location isn't bad, like I did. I was really displeased with how far away from central Madrid this hotel was.

“nice value hotel”

It´s a very confortable place, looks like a little apartment, so if you like to cook for yourself, this is the place. Everything in the room works perfectly and the staff is very friendly. The room and facilities are clean, and theres a big park in front of the hotel so you can take nice walks. Maybe the only con will put in it is distance, the nearest metro station its not far (10 min walk) but i personally lost much time moving to the city center and the airport. Its about half hour to the center and an hour and a half to the airport. It´s a nice neighborhood alltough I couldn´t find a internet place or some place to make calls. Except for that it´s a very nice option if you´re on a budget. Probably would go back.

The hotel staff was very courteous and friendly! The room was nice and clean. The hotel itself wasn't far from the train station and it is a very short ride into the city. The breakfast was good, but you do have to pay for it. I would love to go back again!!!

a bit of a walk from the metro stop, the hotel was exactly as expected. super clean room, very friendly staff, and a grocery store quite near! everything was clean, and the room was very nice. we were very comfortable and happy with our experience. :)

“Great value - inconvenient location”

The rooms were clean and spacious with a kitchenette. It was excellent value for money. It is quite distant from the city and even a kilometer walk from the train station so quite out of the way. Excellent high-speed internet. Lovely cafes in the nearby town. You would stay here for the good price and excellent work environment rather than convenience for touring. I had difficulty locating the airport shuttle from the airport and the airport information counter gave wrong directions to the cab driver. Expect difficulties in these two areas of service.

“good overall”

I was satisfied with the hotel. the rooms are comfortable and come with a small kitchen and refrigerator. i was surprised to find out that people actually live in the building so it looks more like a residence building than a hotel. the closest metro station is 10 minutes on foot and from there to madrid is about 30 minutes. so if you don't mind walking you should be fine. i would definitely go back
