“LOndon Experience”

Hotel's location on the bus route and easy access to the tube. Hotel staff were very accomodating. Shortage of resteraunts nearby but the hotel had a good one. Breakfast was too expensive at 13 Pounds but 100 meteres up the road a cafe did a great one for 7 Pounds. Had a great time thanks!

“Great Hotel”

Finding a hotel in London that isn't ridiculously expensive is pretty tough. The RE Shoreditch isn't cheap, but it's not ridiculous either. And you get a great hotel for the relatively inexpensive price. The air conditioning in the room is FANTASTIC. You can set it yourself, and it's been my experience with other hotels that they aren't that cold, so I set this one to it's coldest. Even I, who loves a cold room, had to raise the temperature after 30 minutes. Huge plus there. The hotel has free internet, which is also a big plus, but the only draw back there is it doesn't stretch beyond the 2nd floor. Thankfully that's the floor we were on, but any higher and we wouldn't have been able to. The room was spacious, especially by European standards, and the bathroom was nice. The beds were also very comfortable. The hotel is only a short 3 minute walk from a national rail stop. You could take the tube, but I wouldn't recommend it due to distance...the train that runs from Liverpool Street Station gets there in less then 5 minutes. Overall, my wife & I loved this hotel. We usually book low cost places because the hotel, for us, is just a place to crash at night. So it was nice to find a low cost place that was also a great place to stay. Overall verdict: Highly Recommended.

“Friendly Service in an Art Conscious London”

If you want to be close to the City (Liverpool Station), but avoid tourist heavy neighbourhoods, this hotel location is perfect. Located in Shoreditch, which reminds me of Williamsburg in Brooklyn before it became popular, the hotel is centrally located in the neighbourhood where less conventional Londoners spend their nights. The hotel itself is clean, both in terms of design and the facilities, and the hotel staff left nothing wanting.

the service was terrible. the desk person didn't know that i paid already and tried to charge me on my card again. took 30 min to check in. don't go there.

Staff etc. were very gracious and helpful, don't believe them though when they say it is a "short" walk to the tube. Take the bus from Liverpool St. on the 42 or 48. Much better than walking and carrying baggage. The key cards were continually "not working". The breakfast was great and staff very helpful in the dining room. Will stay there when in London again.

Easy to locate from Heathrow. Easy link by bus/underground to various sites in London. Initially apprehensive as I have never heard of this hotel before. First impression was good. Front desk officers wrer simply wonderful and warm. The hotel cleanliness and quiet atmosphere is extremely welcoming. The rooms were quite clean although a little more space would have increased its comfort. But definitly, the Hotel is whort every dollar spent on it during my stay. Surely I plan to return to this hotel on my next visit to London.
