Good value for the money, great owners who were very helpful, large bathroom facilities unlike many older hotels in France. Room was a bit snug but adequate, very quiet in spite of other reviews that maintained the opposite. The location is great, right next to the chateau de Blois. We could walk to almost everything in the area. Facility was very clean.

Very nice comfortable hotel right in the centre of Blois. Rather an old-world feel, not shiny and new, but pleasant nonetheless. Very helpful owners who made us feel very welcome.

The hotel was beautiful with an exceptional view. Excellent hotel choice for the money. Staff was extremly helpful and fluent in English. We had parking directly in front of the hotel. OUr balcony room opened up to the chateau and basilica. Very romantic! room was very clean.

“Interesting Historical Hotel for Great Price”

While it is old and quirky, this is a historic hotel that is a great value. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the hostess was very warm and welcoming.

“A comfortable friendly hotel”

The hotel is very comfortable with a great location. Our room looked straight out at the Blois Chateau. The hotel is due for refurbishment later in 2011. It is still good at the moment with old world charm. We were especially impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. My wife had a bad tooth and they arranged a dental appointment at short notice. This was help beyond the call of duty! We would certainly go back.

“Just OK”

The rooms have paper thin walls so you can hear every thing going on in the entire hotel. The beds are very uncomfortable and the rooms are very dated. This hotel is in serious need of a makeover. Bathrooms were good size. Cannot complain about location , its right next to the castle. We didn't try the breakfast room so not sure if that was good or not. Would not stay here again.
