“Great Value for your dollar”
Booking in advance and paid less than half regular rate.
“Coul be better”
Let's face it, the Riv can't help it's location at the far end of the strip. But if I am paying resort fees, I want a hotel that has workout equipment newer than the stoneage. More tv channels. staff that pretends to care. A world class buffet that actually has fresh food. And I don't think I should have to pay an extra money to use a sauna or whirlpool. That is what the fees are for. Try harder Riv, or continue fading into obscurity.
“Great location, low prices”
Riviera is good enough for travelers who looking for a cheap vacation. But Casino is pretty small. By the way, I like the show "Crazy Girls". Nice!
“Going back in March of 2012...”
good place...
“Poor Service On First Night”
The Riviera Hotel was where we stayed at in Vegas. While the rooms were nice and some of the staff later on was helpful, some of it wasn't so good. On our first night, we didn't get very much help at all from the girl on the front desk. She didn't give us a map, explain to us on how to get around the hotel, or anything. She just handed the key, half-heartedly told us how to get to the room (and not in a very clear manner) and just hurried us off. It was very difficult when we just got off the plane and were exhausted of dragging our luggage around. Thankfully, we did find staff members later who were helpful. But I do think the hotel needs a change in their staff. If they don't make changes, then I can't recommend them.
“Dont go to te Rivera way better palces to stay.”
We were on our hneymoon. The Rivera is on the end of the strip so the location could be better. We upgraded the room it was nice after the upgrade. the staff at the hotel were horrible, unprofessional to say the least. We were hustled right from the begining by someone trytin gto sell us on a tour and in return we would get hotel comps. It was not cool. The buffett was very dirty, un kept and food was poor quality, The pub was pretty good however. Hotel is poorly maintained and I dont know how long this place will keep going with all the other quality options, Even the older ones in Downtown were way nicer than the Rivera base on age comparision.
“Great history here!”
If you like the atmosphere of "old Vegas",, there is alot of great history here!! We loved the feel of this hotel! The rooms were clean and affordable, If only the walls could talk! I recommend the Riviera to anyone that wants to kick back and relax without all the hoopla... We'll be back!!
“A good value on the strip”
have no complaints, everything went smoothly. a microwave would have been nice and trying to find the elevators for the room was a bit difficult.
“Not Impressed”
The first room we got had a refrigerator that was in a cabinet and had mold in all over the bottom of refrigerator and the cabinet. They moved us to another room right away but was a little smaller room.
