Ok but needs updating !Posted 02/09/2013
Cons: Decor and a general update
Location: Not much to do in the area , except go to the casino or the one pub uncle toms cabin , ( which I wouldn't recommend to anyone , location is ideaquiet
When my daughter and I arrived we were met with a smile, shown to our room , top floor twin room , room was clean but in need of updating , ie: bedside draws were delaminating on the front, silicone around the ensuite needs re-doing, just a little tlc would make a lot of diffrence to the room , that's all the moaning done , the staff couldn't do enough great people, food was great to .

Very pleasant service and for the price excellent value for money. Breakfast was great and the distance although a bit of a trek actually gave me a good work out and helped sober me up on the way back to avoid a hangover the following morning. If I was staying again I would definitely consider the Sefton hotel. Free parking on the street too - bonus :)

Cold and drabPosted 01/11/2012 on Hotels.com
Room 1 is very depressing, worn out, cracks, stains, dust, etc. Just couldn't feel comfortable as it felt so dirty. No heating on in the morning and it was a wild, cold and windy night. Didn't fancy using the bathroom in the morning at all as it was so cold and dirty looking anyway. Decent breakfast. So happy to get back home and get clean and warm again.

Great if you want somewhere to be relaxed.Posted 22/10/2012
Cons: Datedness of the hotel
Location: Bit far away from the attractions
Lorraine was lovely and very helpful but the rooms could really do with a lot of updating!!! The cleanliness and hospitality was second to none but it's just so dated. I would actually stay there again.
