You cannot beat the view from the triple occupancy room up front on the second floor. We have stayed in this room twice now and we will do everything possible to get this room again in the future.

Good location, bad state
This little hotel has the perfect location, nice service personal and a lovely dinner terrace over the lake. However it was not updated in the past 15+ years and there is no free parking available as mentioned in the description. Unfortunately our room was looking over a backyard full of waste which also dimmed the holiday vibes. A little upgrade would make a huge difference.

Perfect location in Tremezzina, Como. The breakfast was very good and the staff helpful. The only negative was at night, some noise from the restaurant at night. Absolutely beautiful views of the lake from open windows, and comfortable accommodations. If we hadn't been at Lake Como for a family wedding, perhaps we would have joined in the fun??!

Wonderful holiday
We received a very warm welcome from Giulio, Marina and Bruna... Breakfast was wonderful and was served in the garden....Villa Carlotta worth a visit also the greenway.... lots and lots to do....

Our second stay here and really like the hotel and the location. The river had a tranquil sound and the staff is very very nice. We enjoyed our dinner and could not have been happier.

Great Value
Get the room overlooking Lake Como on third floor. Old building but clean and convenient to Lake ferry terminal. Staff are great. Room had four huge windows that we opened and enjoyed the fresh air.

Cycling Como
We were five guys on a cycling trip around Lake Como. This hotel was perfect for our requirements. It could be little cold in the rooms at night and the shower was little more than a trickle. But the staff, service and location outweighed that.

Booked late so did not get as good as room as previous years - this time above noisy kitchen and minimal view of lake. Otherwise room and location good. Breakfast very good.

BATH TUB IS AN ACCIDENT READY TO HAPPEN
I know rooms in Europe are smaller in contrast to the States and I am okay with it. This bathroom was small but that wasn't the problem. The bathtub was extremely small with a seat in it. Something you might put your child into for a bath. The location of bath and the fact it was so deep making it dangerous to get into with no handle to hold onto. You had to grab the sink to get in and out. Keep in mind there are a lot of retired tourists in Lake Como. This was our room. I did see a shower in one of the other rooms.

I walked in they took my credit card and I was taken to my room. It was not acceptableand I left and found another room at the hotel down the street. I would not advise this place to anyone.

OK, nothing special.
Fabulous view but spoilt by the very noisy evening and night time traffic (opt for a non lake view if you want to sleep, although that kind of defeats the object). Breakfast was good, food was ok but better to be had elsewhere for cheaper. Probably better out of season

Room with no view
We wanted a single with lake view. Lake was just viewable leaning out of the window. Single really was single. Shower - okay but leave the door open to get out or you bump into the wall. Very small. Breakfast was poor really. In fact, I cant really think of much to compliment. We ate their as a family in the evening one night. That was okay. Following night we ate at a local restaurant and that was superb.

Beautiful, inexpensive hotel in great location
My dad, sister and I had a nearly flawless stay at Hotel Azalea. We shared an inexpensive (compared to other hotels in the Lake Como area) hotel room accommodating three people, with comfortable beds, ample space, and gorgeous, gorgeous views of the lake. We felt like we were staying in a palace. We also enjoyed the restaurant at Azalea, especially the generous and delicious included breakfast. The women who ran the hotel and the restaurant were also so lovely and helpful, and I really enjoyed conversing with them in a combination of basic English and Italian. The only issue is that the room was quite noisy, being directly above a busy road with lots of motorcycles going by, and a bar down the street with patrons whose voices carry right into the room. Still, with earplugs, we slept very well. I would definitely, definitely visit again!

Perfect location in como
The hotel is located right on the lake como, a few minutes away from villa carlotta and cadenabbia ( car ferry for bellagio ) , 5 km away from lenno ( villa balbianello ) and menaggio( car ferry to varenna) . You can walk theough the lake , which is not easy at the other villages of como. The hotel has a restaurant on the lake which is great. The rooms are old fashioned, with lake view, no air condition - not necessary in june, but we felt comfortable overall. Breakfast was ok, i recommend this hotel if you wanna stay in a good location with lake view but do not wanna pay so much for a stay.

Location, location - and a great restaurant!
This hotel is located above a bar/restaurant and as we were travelling with a baby my first impression was uh oh. But I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't noisy at all. Our room (11) was located at the far end of the hotel above the kitchen. It was basic but clean. A little warm in the middle of July without any air conditioning but we left the large windows open at night and it was cool enough. The ladies in the bar & restaurant who also did check in were lovely. Even though they spoke minimal English they managed to be very friendly and cater to all our needs. The food at the restaurant was amazing, and had great views, If you book a table early you can actually eat in a pontoon over the lake which I would have loved to have done. Overall for a great hotel for a cheap price.

excellent location near ferry port and villa carlotta.Beds very comfortable although only one chair in room. En-suite very small and just adequate. Sheets and towels changed very regularly. Great location
The hotel was clean and situated right on the lake with a great view. We had two rooms, one of which was quite small, but still comfortable. The location was great -- close to restaurants, the ferry, and nice walking paths along the lake. The breakfast was nice, too -- plenty of food.

This is not the grandest of hotels but perfectly adequate. The room was clean and comfortable but a little shabby with a tiny bathroom that was cramped but functional. These shortcomings were more than compensated for by the warm, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was wonderful and the couple of times we ate our evening meal in the hotel restaurant the food was fabulous. The hotel location is perfect, just a couple a minutes walk from Villa Carlotta and also very near the ferry terminal. Parking next to the hotel is expensive at one euro an hour but a few hundred metres away parking is free, we left our car there for most of the holiday and did our travelling on foot, by boat, or on the cute little road train which runs from Lenno to Mennagio. There are a couple of small tourist type shops nearby and several restaurants just along the front although they can be a bit pricey. Would recommend the "Red and White" bar/restaurant for service, great food and reasonable prices.

brilliant find, will be visiting again!
The staff warmly welcomed us and allowed us early check in. the room was spacious, clean and had amazing views over the lake. Probably the best view in tremezzo! food in the restaurant was lovely, fresh, homemade and very tasty. breakfast included a good choice and lovely service. would highly recommend.d, great value for money, will definitely be booking again. All in all a very enjoyable stay!

Azalea - Tremezzo
Couldn't recommend the Azalea highly enough, the location is perfect for exploring the lake and is situated on a particularly pleasant stretch of the lakes ring road. The staff couldn't be more helpful, polite, attentive. I will certainly be stopping by next time!

Vue magnifique (sur le lac) personnels aux petits soins et restaurant très bon. Par contre simple vitrage et donc très bruyant avec le passage des véhicules juste en dessous.

Na jedną noc wystarczy.
Obiekt przy głównej drodze przelotowej więc ruch samochodowy jest całą dobę. Piękny widok na jezioro. Brak klimatyzacji więc trzeba mieć otwarte okno w nocy. Pokój bardzo duży ale urządzony w starym stylu.

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage, da nur wenige Meter links und rechts vom Haus Anlegestellen der Schiffe sind, die auf dem See verkehren. Von unserem Zimmer aus hatten wir einen ebenso tollen Blick über den See hinweg bis nach Bellagio. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich, die Zimmer wurden täglich geputzt und es gab täglich frische Handtücher. Außerdem ist die Speisekarte des Restaurant auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert. Alles in Allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und für drei Nächte am Comer See war es die ideale Unterkunft.

Gammelt hotel med atmosfære - men med trafikstøj
Hotellet ligger med sø-udsigt - fra alle 4 vinduer på vores værelse. Fantastisk udsigt. - Men samtidig havde vi vejen lige nedenfor vores værelse med meget trafikstøj! - Gammelt charmerende værelse, nyere badeværelse, rent og pænt. - Vi følte os ikke vel modtaget, - men kom også for sent i forhold til check-in inden kl. 19, og der var travlhed i restauranten. - Så travlt at der ikke engang var plads til os at spise der! Lidt svært at finde parkering på det tidspunkt, vi kom. Vi måtte læsse af med bilen holdende på vejen, og så køre efter parkering.

KATASTROPHE!!!!
Klebriger Fußboden, abgenutzte Möbel wie vom Sperrmüll, eine Türe die nicht richtig schließt, ein Fenster das man nicht öffnen kann... Eine absolute Katastrophe! Haben nach einer furchtbaren Nacht auch direkt wieder ausgecheckt! Ich würde auch für Geld keine Nacht mehr dort verbringen!!!

Mrs. Jennifer Es tut mir leid, dass er nicht das Zimmer hatte, das er wollte, da er mit einer letzten Minute gebucht hatte, was er vorgab? Unser ist ein altes Haus der 700 mit vielen Original-Features und für Liebhaber dieses Genres abgerufen. Unser Stolz ist nicht modern, aber Einfachheit, Höflichkeit und Sauberkeit. Für das, was sie mit hundert Metern will, ist das Grand Hotel tausend Euro pro Nacht. Bitte setzen sie sich Mit freundlichen Grüßen

till att börja med så var det rummet vi beställde inte tillgängligt och inga andra rum fans efter vi hade kontaktat hotell. com fick de fram ett fyrbädds rum rummet var fyllt med sängar och ingen ac det var säkert 30 grader i rummet det var inte alls vad vi hade beställt och det förstörde hela den dagen och natten frukosten var hellre inget att skryta med lite bröd och en yoghurt

Kära herrar Vi är ett litet hotell med endast två stjärnor och luftkonditioneringen är helt klart att det finns, låt oss utmärkta fans att hjälpa våra kunder när det är varmt, de stora rummen är bara två och om man redan är upptagen innan du kvar den andra. Sedan till frukost vi inte tala om, låt oss kaffe, mjölk, bröd, smör, nutella sylt, kakor, kex, yoghurt och orange efterfrågan eller ananas eller grapefrukt, skinka, ost och ägg också juice. Vad är det du klagar? Det finns inga ord för vad du skrev!
