“Great stay. Would go back!”
Had a great time in killarney at Eviston House. Rooms were great. Full breakfast every morning. Reception was wonderful. Nice and close to all shops and pubs. One of the bartenders had a personality problem but other than that, no complaints. Food was pretty good but venture out to other pubs for some great pub food. Nightly entertainment was handy as well. I would definitely recommend staying there.
“Great value”
I stayed here with a friend for one night before starting a bicycle trip. The hotel was comfortable and clean, great value, and exceeded my expectations. It's very centrally located and an easy walk from the train station.
“Right at the heart of Killarney”
The hotel is situated right in the heart of Killarney with access to all that the town offers. The hotel and all staff were really great. The car parking is a little difficult especially if you have a fairly large car. Meals were very good but with coach parties at breakfast time the limited staff were hard pushed to accommodate the individual traveler. On the whole an excellent stay and we would definitely recommend it to anyone else who was looking for a reasonable hotel to stay in.
“Old World Charm - Little Gem”
Delightful older-style hotel that reminds you of Agatha Christie settings. Located right in the middle of Killarney's old town it pays to carefully work out its location beforehand as parking upon arrival is minimal on the streets. Staff extremely friendly. If you're driving be warned: the access to the free car park is via a passageway that left about a centimetre each side of my VW Golf. Definitely s test of nerve and driving skills. Hotel more for the older traveller. The stuffed deer on the second floor landing was unusual if not unnerving. However, a major bonus was the fact that the shower/bath was fitted with simple easy to use taps. Why do so many hotels seem to baffle their guests with these? Simple on/off hot/cold is all that is required. Easy access to all the major highlights of Killarney. Bed comfortable, room clean, shower hot, staff friendly, pricing reasonable. What more do you need from a hotel?
“Not bad at all!”
Clean, warm, spacious room with comfortable bed. Great shower. Although we were on 2nd floor, we could hear the music from the nighclub downstairs. Would not recommended for people with young children, corridors are noisy at weekends. Very friendly and helpful staff. All in all, an enjoyable experience.
