“Basik Rooms and Fantastic Location”
Overall Great Stay: Walking distance to tourist sites, Staff hospitable and helpful recommending activities, Beautiful breakfast buffet, Cozy and pretty interior design. This hotel is well situated, the breakfast is good, but the service and help was exceptional. I would definitely return here (preferably under better circumstances!) The roof terrace is wonderful with splendid views and the geographical situation is perfect. When we return to Istanbul we know where we will stay here again.

really surprised to get a clean room great and helpful staff - a perfect location a reel boutique hotel beleive you get more what you paid for amazing!!! a wonderful stay if i come back to istanbul deffinitly i book in this hotel.
“Hospitality personified !”
The staff could not be more helpful and hospitable. The ambience is quaint and lovely. Location is perfect. My only complaint is that the the bathroom was extremely small and it was almost impossible to use the shower. We didn't even try and left "dirty."

“You get what you pay for”
For a cheap hotel, it was to be expected. Do not set your standards too high for Istanbul Hotels as they are all pretty basic. One thing that really surprised me was that the hotel kept saying that they were going to clean our room, but when you went back, the room or bathroom were never cleaned. Towels were not changed daily. I had to ask for clean towels on a daily basis. Overall not impressed with cleanliness of the turks!!!
“Small clean and available”
There were very few hotel rooms available for the weekend. This proved a good last minute place. Rooms very small, traditional breakfast adequate, staff very friendly. Not a place to stay if one will be in the room nice but a good place if no other alternatives available. Conveniently located in Sultanahmet, close to the tram line.
“good but somewhat neglected”
Very good location, small room ,missing details such lack of bedside light, chair and curtain without hooks. The floor bathroom gets wet because the shower curtain are too short. Friendly staff, quiet rooms, normal Turkish breakfast.
“Budget hotel in a great location”
This hotel is about two blocks from Aya Sofia, so you can't beat the location. It is really inexpensive and you get what you pay for - small rooms, 10-year-old bath towels (when the maid remembers to leave towels), inconsistent hot water, no heat in early Spring, etc. We'd stay there again because the value was great. Also, it is not quiet, so light sleepers should stay away.
“Not impressed”
My room phone was broken, and they would not replace it, nor reduce the room rate to compensate me for the inconvenience. The hotel on the whole is not well maintained.
“Wouldn't Return”
We were not impressed with this hotel. Although we were offered breakfast and early check-in upon arrival, that was the high point. Well aware it was a two-star hotel, we were surprised by the condition of the bathrooms and the well-meaning but ultimately unhelpful staff. The top of the toilet was filthy, due to rain coming through the dirty screen of an open window. It was not cleaned during our four-night stay. The water coming out of the shower and tap had a very foul odor, making it unpleasant to wash. The foul water overtook any positives that the hotel may have had. The very tiny room had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was adequate; cooked food was said to be available for a price, but there was no way to inquire about it. There was no water available at breakfast. When asking the desk staff to make reservations, we were told the phone was out of order. The staff also did not know where we could buy an electrical adapter or find postage stamps. They were friendly but not very knowledgeable. The upside was the good location and a nice sitting area.
