“The most fantastic service and beautiful hotel”
We came here for a 4 night break as part of a trip to SE Asia. We caught the local bus down from Bangkok so the luxurious Yaiya was the perfect place to arrive. The staff were so thoughtful and we practically had the hotel to ourselves. The most beuatiful infinity pool and gardens, they brought us watermelon frozen drinks in the middle of the day and the restaurant was superb. Great Thai food and even the most amazing pizza from the pizza oven. The Siam massage was one and half hours of pure bliss and the rooms were just gorgeous, lovely touches, beautifully decorated. As it was low season they kindly upgraded us to a pool villa on the last day. We spent the entire day in and out of the pool and lazing in the day room. All in all a fantastic find. The hotel was only 7 months old and just perfect in every way. Only thing that let it down was the beach, not as gorgeous as other parts and lots of jelly fish given the season. But the pool kept us cool and happy.

The resort is to the north of Hua Hin and is situated on the sea front with direct access to the beach. There is 24 hour security and an underground car park which keeps the cars cool and safe. The resort is quite remote, about 10km from Hua Hin which gives it a very peaceful and tranquil feel. There is a large communal swimming pool next to the bar and restaurant and a lovely grassed area before direct access to the beach. There is security staff on the beach and a waiter kindly brings refreshments to you while you soak up the sun or dry off after swimming in the warm sea. I booked a villa with a private swimming pool which was very comfortable with the living area on the ground floor and swimming pool and a lounge (bed) area on the first floor. The villa and pool were kept very clean. The staff were very fast and efficient at solving any minor issues; we lost HBO on the TV for a while but who needs TV when you are in paradise. The bedroom was comfortable and a large bathroom, shower and toilet. Flip-flops for outdoors and sandals for indoors are provided at the villa. One very minor point is that the private swimming pool isn’t that private. The neighbours do have a limited view into the pool area so care must be taken when skinny dipping and with the pool lights on in the evening it has a very romantic feel. The resort is perfect for couples and families who like peace and quiet and I would recommend to anyone wanting this kind of break. The downside is that it had to end.

I enjoy staying here and would go back again. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The pool villa is nice and private.

The hotel is nice but the location is a bit far from town. There is not a lot to do - one restaurant, a small stretch of beach, a nice pool and a good (but expensive) spa. It will suit if you do not plan to go anywhere or if you have small children. If you want to spend time in the town of Hua Hin, there are many places much closer and at lower prices.
