“Hope you get a car...”

We have a GPS, so we easily found the hotel in our rental car, but if you don't have one, it might be a little hard to find, as it's in a rather residential area... The hotel room was clean and tidy, looked like the bathroom had been newly renovated, which was nice. We somehow ended up with two twin beds instead of a double bed, even though we specified double, but they were comfortable and warm. There was a really great Greek restaurant on the main road going into town, maybe a mile away, which we loved and wished we'd found earlier, and several other restaurants right up the hill from the hotel, which although we didn't try, they looked decent... The hotel even had a restaurant, which always smelled great when we walked by... we were so busy though that we usually ate elsewhere.

“Attentive service”

On balance a fair hotel for business purposes. Good location for central Glasgow and environs. Where I had queries matters were dealt with sympathetically and swiftly.

“Very Friendly Scottish Hideaway”

Overall we were very happy nd comfortable with this hotel. Everything was high standard apart from the fact that we couldnt get a double bed to sleep in, two individual singles.... Staff were very friendly although we found the housekeeper to be less than thorough with restocking tea/coffee/toilet paper and knocked twice to clean the room before 10am. No biggie in the scheme of things though.

“Quick night in Glasgow”

We stayed for just one night in Glasgow at the Busby. The hotel is "budget," but sufficed our needs. The bed was "extra-firm" but there was a hair dryer in the room. The windows opened just fine, but I do agree with another traveller that without GPS I think it would be difficult to find. Overall, we would stay there again because the price and location are right.

“OK for short stay - good breakfast”

Busby Hotel is situated right at the heart of Glasgow city. It takes a while to get to the hotel lobby from the parking lot, so if you have lots of luggage, walking from the parking lot and up to the hotel lobby by going through several doors and a couple of elevators can be a bit tiresome. The hotel is neat with all basic facilities. However, the room did not have soap in the bathroom, and no bath tub - just a shower. As with many other hotels, there is no air conditioning provided and the room was somewhat stuffy since the windows could not be opened as well. On the positive side, the complimentary breakfast was superb and very much above average. There is also a computer in the lobby that one can use to access the internet by paying for it (1 pound for 20 mins, I think). We stayed only 1 night, so it was okay overall for the price we paid. And if you are not too particular about the minor aspects, this is a neat and clean place for a brief stay of 1 or 2 nights with all the facilities and a reasonable price.

“Checked out early”

This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. So much so that my fiance and I checked out early. It was worn and unclean - and the bed sheets had mould on them. We simply could not stay for more than one night.
