“Outstanding Customer Service”
Amazing Job since the new owners have taken over this hotel.
“If I ever get back to Glasgow, will def stay there!!”
This hotel gives both the feel of a large hotel with the friendliness and personal attention of a B&B. Located close to any City Centre location, it was both convenient and comfortable. The room was spacious and very clean. The Staff was very accommodating and always asked us if there was anything they could do to make our stay more pleasant. We loved it!
“Great downtown location. Small but excellent hotel”
I was at a conference in Glasgow, and found the St Judes. A great place to stay and a great deal. It's a small hotel with about 6 rooms, very modern decor. Located in the center of town, with loads of great restaurants and bars nearby. Greta breakfast, high speed internet etc. Everything you typically need. Would also be great for a weekend away!
“Glasgow hotel”
Spent three nights at st judes. The room was decorated well, had all the necessary gadgets and was clean. However, it was unusually hot and dry, had to keep the window open all day and night and had the fan on. In the basement there is a bar\club, and on two Of the three nights, the ground floor dining room was rented out for private parties, which went on till about 3am... But, in fairness it wasn't particularly loud and the partygoers didn' t cause a nuisance. All in all I would recommend the hotel.
“Good hotel with extremely friendly staff.”
If only the parking was cheaper, 2 pounds per hour. But the hotel was sufficient for our needs and the staff were exceptionally helpful.
“Great Value”
Comfortable bed, good shower, quiet hotel despite being right on Bath Street. Will definitely go back.
“Cool feel”
Although on business it was nice to be staying at a hotel that felt different to the norm. Nice little touches in the room with IPOD docking staying built into the wall and office equipment, stapler, etc to help the business user. Not that I've ever needed a stapler.........but if I had. One down side was that when I arrived there was no reception and I had to head out to the bar attached to the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted out the room immediately. In the morning the breakfast was very good and service excellent. I will be back.
“A hotel with a style of its own.”
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome at St Judes. We were pleasantly surprised by the colorful, arty decor. Strong contrasts and innovative design features made it stand out from so many other hotels. The restaurant offered many pleasing options and the breakfast was more than adequate and in keeping with the theme through-out the hotel. There was a little noise late at night but we were not disturbed by it. The staff went out of their way to help us get some laundry done before we had to depart and while it would be fair to say St Judes is a young persons' hotel this pair of oldies thoroughly enjoyed their stay there.
“Good hotel if you like clubbing”
Room was comfy but more attention could have been paid to the overall cleanliness. Toiletries in the room were second hand. Dont know what the location is like during the week but at weekend wouldnt recommend unless you want to go to the club in the basement or you have a good pair of ear plugs! Although the music was quite good. Main issue was with the folk who seemed to spend the whole night outside smoking!!!
“Dark”
It would be great for a sexy romantic weekend. One weird thing was the absence of a closet in which to hang clothes in what was otherwise a spacious and comfortable room. Evrything is a bit dark and 'Gothish' . The downstairs bar/restaurant is good and the bar food decent, Breakfast OK with excellent coffee but no hot food. I missed my full English #sorry Scottish#.
