“Dorsett Kowloon Hotel (Tai Kok Tsui )”

GOOD DEAL! service are very nice and people are friendly, except 1 person work at front desk. the bed cover have stain...this is not nice at all. besides this, i'm fine with the hotel. *** this hotel is not easy to find. if you take bus/ taxi, you better tell them it is opposit to the fire department located on Tai Kok Tsui road, which next to a shell gas station.

“Extremely worth the price”

Dorsett Kowloon isn't the greatest of hotels, but it's the top choice for those on a budget. The rooms are small, but comfortable. In my case, I spent most of my time traveling around Hong Kong and Kowloon and only used the hotel for internet and a place to sleep; and, in such a case, it was the perfect selection. Its proximity to Olympic and Mong Kok MTR stations is extremely helpful. While Mong Kok station may be further away, the 10 minute walk is a pleasant one. The 3 minute walk to Olympic station makes travel to and from the airport extremely convenient and provides a faster alternative route to HK Island (via the Tung Chung MTR line) when the more popular Tsuen Wan MTR line is at peak hours. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is great for those who would like to experience the Mong Kok street life. My only complaint would be the price of internet and outgoing calls. The internet is at a descent price if you are using it for many hours, but if you only need an hour or two you are better off finding a WiFi hotspot. For calls, you will get better rates for your money with a prepaid phone or HK sim card than using the hotel phone. I didn't eat in the Dorsett Kowloon café during my stay, so I cannot comment on that.

“Location for is good , lot's of restaurant around the area”

Hotel is really good for the price, the only thing that really bother is the bed its really hard and i stayed there for morethan a week so its tough, but other than that is great... room is small but its common in hongkong, for the price i recommend it.

“Will book again in the future”

Nice hotel, rooms where abit small and abit dusty. It's Hong Kong so I can't really complain. The mini-fridge in the room is not that cold. Noisy during the day time due to industrial area. Walls are a bit thin, so you will near the room next to you during the night. Good hotel service and 10-15minutes walk to ladies street markets or just take the free hotel shuttle bus out there. Two 7/11 stores around each corner, a 24hours McDonalds and a very cheap laundry service located on Tai Kok Tsui Rd. Laundry service in the hotel is expensive. Very close to Olympic MTR station. Overall, it was a good stay and it's worth what you pay. You won't staying at the hotel all day anyways in a place in Hong Kong. Will book again in the future.

“I love Hong Kong”

Overall it's a good hotel. It's in an interesting neiborghhood, you will get a different taste of Hong Kong from the flashy central shopping area. I like it very much. Maybe the same reason, the staffs here seem more layback than hotels in the shopping area.

“Good value in the non-tourist area of north Kowloon”

Overall, the hotel & flight package was excellent value for HK. The room was very small, but was comfortable enough, with tv, hairdryer, en-suite. Having been to HK before and stayed close to Observatory Rd in the heart of the tourist area, this made a change, there aren't any toursits here! It's quite a long walk from this hotel down to Tsim Sha Tsui and the Star Ferry area, but taxis are cheap. Overall, a great value hotel in north Kowloon.

“Great budget stay”

Perfect for a few night stay in Hong Kong, but may not be suitable for a long stay as the size of the room was very small in comparison to other Hong Kong hotels. Close to olympic MTR station and within walking distance to Mong Kok and all the ammenities there. Overal very satisfied for what we paid

“Clean and comfortable”

The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. Being unfamiliar with Hong Kong, we had some trouble finding the hotel - it's a bit of a walk from the MTR.
