“Fantastic place to stay”
The Long Life Riverside hotel is a fantastic place to stay while in Hoi An. Our room was gorgeous, spacious and extremely clean, and the pool was great. The location is fantastic, and the staff are friendly.
“Warm friendly hotel in great location.”
Great location on edga of old town. Small hotel with Colonial style decor. Swim pool could do with a clean. Staff in the hotel were excellent, especially the night receptionist, who was exceptional.
“Hotel goes off with a bang! ...the fireworks kind!”
We stayed at the Long Life Riverside Hotel for 6 nights and it was easily one of, if not the best hotel, we have stayed in while in Vietnam. The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable with nice soft beds and very pleasing decor in the rooms. Staff were always friendly and willing to help with anything you needed. Hotel was also very generous with providing water each day (2x 1.5L bottles) which was always appreciated. The hotel's position to Hoi An old town was just superb with it only being a short walk away (2 mins). It was also the Tet holiday while we were in Hoi An and the hotel was the perfect spot to view the riverside fireworks to celebrate bringing in the new year. Couldn't have had a better spot!
“Great hotel for couples; great value.”
The rooms are large and gorgeous. The hotel is in an excellent location. I think it's in the best location in Hoi An and there are only 2 hotels at present that are in an equally good location. This hotel is much cheaper than 1 of those 2 and it is much nicer than the other. The pool is really just a wading pool and there's no exercise room or business centre so this hotel is geared more towards couples than families or business travellers. Every time I return to Hoi An, I will book with this hotel.
“Perfect base for short stay in beautiful town!”
Very good. Value for money! The pool was lovely and clean for an early morning swim. It was particularly good that we could take bikes from the hotel for free in order to reach the beach. The hotel is in a perfect location for the town, a short walk from the town and lots of fab bats and restaurants.
“Good choice for a couple of nights in Hoi An”
Superbly located just a brief walk to the Old City and amidst the riverside cafes, restaurants and night-market on the island. Not noisy at night. Modest but adequate buffet breakfast with the usual assortment of fresh fruit, packaged yoghurt, simple pastries and hot food, including delicious made-to-order pineapple or banana pancakes. The air-conditioning worked but had a musty odour that bothered the kids a bit. The compact bathroom arrangement with the toilet inside the shower stall was a little unusual and meant a bit of extra coordination (and time) was needed in the morning, but it was very clean and perfectly functional in the end. They had free bicycles to borrow but we ran out of time so missed our chance. Be wise to reserve them for a planned day/time. I was there with two children (10 and 15) and it worked well for us. I am happy to recommend it to other couples or families.
“A gorgeous hotel-a must stay!”
A gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous town. The location is perfect for walking into the streets at night when it is alive and during the day to see he markets and shop. Within biking distance to the beach also. The staff were lovely and spoke great english. They told us everything we needed to know and helped organise anything we wanted and didn't push us to use their facilities if there were better ones they would recommend them. Best hotel we saw in Hoi An!
“Great hotel but ordinary staff...”
The rooms are great but the staff at the reception was desapointing... It seems that they were not very interested by clients... Not very smiling and welcoming....
“Great location and hotel”
Long Life Riverside was great. The rooms were beautiful as was the hotel and the pool. Most of the staff were great though one was a little officious. The food was a bit lacking though. The street food is way better. The location was perfect. The only bump we had was being picked up from the airport and taken to the wrong hotel which was affiliated anyway but this was quickly and efficiently rectified. The hotel also has bicycles for guests use for free which was brilliant.
“Excellent location and nice rooms”
This hotel was in an excellent location just be the Japanese bridge within an easy walk of all the bars restaurants and sights. They provided bikes too on which we rode to the beach. Even rhough the weather was not good while we were there - raining - we very much liked hoi an and would stay at the riverside again
