“Great place away from the hustle and bustle.”
The food and service were great! It's close enough not to be a bother traveling to Munich, but far enough to get away from it all. I would definitely stay here again!
“Great hotel, location requires a car.”
The hotel was great. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but being there in October this was not a problem. It is located quite near to a church and the clock bell sounds every quarter-hour. The staff was very helpful and friendly, happy to answer any questions or accomodate any requests. A very good European breakfast is included as well as free Wi-Fi. The staff speaks limited English but the owner speaks excellent English. The location requires a car and is a great place if you are driving from town to town. I was spending most of my time in Munich and the difficulty was getting to the hotel from the train station. The busses only run until about 18:00, so anytime after that requires a taxi, which can get expensive. I had to change my reservation days and duration at the last minute and they accomodated my request with no problems.
“Not too bad”
Nice hotel, with a nice restaurant. Friendly staff and nice large room. Only drawback was the location. It's 10 km to the nearest train station so it's only good if you have a car. But the train is only 20 minutes from the Marionplatz in Munich and it worked out well for us.
