“Would definitely go back-great position-quiet quality rooms”
This great hotel was a great position & within walking distance to the lake, 38 streets, and restaurants. Was on a reasonable busy street but the rooms were well sound proofed and we couldn't hear a thing and we had a room over the street. The hotel was lovely and the beds were great quality. Decor really fresh with a modern asian twist. Rooms not huge but certainly big enough for two people with room to walk around bed. A bit more space would have been a bonus but wasn't important as we were hardly there. The comfy beds made up for it...exceptional staff and tour desk. This was our second visit to Hanoi and would gladly stay there again.
“Quality Hotel at a Great Price”
I was very pleased with the Maison D' Hanoi Hanova Hotel. It was listed as a "Top End" hotel in Hanoi by Lonely Planet, but it was about half the price of the other hotels like the Hilton Hanoi Opera. The place was clean, the staff was helpful, the free breakfast was surprisingly good, and the location couldn't be better. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.
“Comnfrotable Hotel and Great Location”
Not a large room but a large bed. I am not an individual who spends a lot of time in my room so this was just fine. Great location in the old quarter and within walking distance of many of the sites I came to see. Friendly efficient staff and great breakfast buffet. One downside, air conditioning not controllable from my room; some sort of master system so not adjustable. Bit on the cool side but I did not find it a problem.
“Good service”
Very polite and helpful staff, excellent beds!
“Pretty Happy”
Hotel room was small but everything you needed was there. Staff were very helpful. Corridors were dark but this wasn't a bid deal. Hotel was central to everything you want to see in hanoi. Free buffet was really good, better than expected. At the price this is what you are after.
“will not go back”
we arrived late at night at the hotel. the room they gave us had no windows to the outside, only a small window that lead to the corridor. the room was extremely small, basicaly only fitting the bed. the picture you see in the internet was probably taken from inside the bathtub. the room was clean, the bed comfortable, but we just felt compressed. the hotel is located in one of the main commercial streets in hanoi, and it is very noisy. I am not so sure now if not having a window was such a bad idea after all.
“No charm, adequate rooms.”
Not impressed with this hotel. There must be better choices in Hanoi. The breakfast is terrible.
