“Awesome Value”

This little hotel has a great value for the price. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with restaurant advice and tour bookings. They really wen't above and beyond with making our Ha Long Bay tour and flight time work. The made to order breakfast was fast and great. Only place they could improve is the WIFI speed and range (like most hotels in Vietnam). Thanks Serenity will stay again!

“Great location, super clean, excellent service”

Compare to other hotels in Hanoi, for this price, this is the best choice. I recommend young couples and students to stay here. If you are old and don't like to climb a few steps, you can pay double to stay at other "nicer" hotels. The staff spoke excellent English and was very efficient at fulfilling guests' request. I really appreciate the cleanliness of the bathroom. The floor was spotless, the towels were clean, toiletries were provided, even hangers. TV, computer and a mini fridge inside the room. A large wardrobe and a firm bed made the stay extra comfortable. AC is very clean and works perfectly. I stayed in two different standard rooms. The windows were made of glass blocks, but they allowed plenty of sunlight inside the rooms, so it was never dark. The windows were also tightly sealed so I could never hear the noise coming from the busy streets of the Old Quarter. The location of the hotel is excellent, too. It's away from the backpackers district, though the price is perfect for a backpacker like me. It's close to the train station, the Dong Xuan Market and HCM Mausoleum, Vietnam Military History Museum. If you want to experience local food, there are 2-3 local pho/bun cha places around the block. This hotel provides a English map of Hanoi and a tour packages around Hanoi. Overall, I had a great staying in Serenity Hotel.

“Great little hotel in Hanoi”

I've just stayed for 14 days over a three week period at the Serenity with a friend. All the staff were very flexible and helpful about changes we made to our bookings and were able to refer us knowledgably to tour options, shopping areas and places to eat. They were also happy to recommend reliable taxis and warned us about pickpockets around Hoan Kiem Lake at night etc. (It was the time of the centennial for Ha Noi, so there were many more locals in the city for the celebrations). While all the staff were very friendly and happy to answer questions and help with anything that we needed, Miss Huyen in particular was most helpful - nothing was too much trouble and she always had a smile and often a joke for us as well. The price we paid for this was very acceptable. The hotel was clean and mostly all the appliances were working. Beds comfortable and showers great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxed and friendly space to use as their base in Ha Noi.

“Transferred”

When I arrived, the airconditioning in Hanoi Serenity Hotel seemed to have broken down. Hanoi Serenity immediate put me up in another hotel that was also in the Old Town section of Hanoi: Rising Dragon Hotel. The ratings I have made above apply to Rising Dragon.

“Good service with resonable price”

We originally didn't have a reservation for early check-in on the day when we were back from Sapa trip. The hotel accomodated us free of charge and let us take a rest in the whole morning until check-in time. Great service and good local restaurant are around.

“Lovely staff and great food close by”

My friend and I's stay at serenity was great. The staff were so friendly, the halong bay tour was a reasonable price and well worth the money and the rooms were clean and modern. Thank you Serenity!
