“Great Location for Travellers on a Budget”

At the Islander Resort Hotel you get what you pay for. The decor in the room was worn, stained, chipped & dated but the bed linen & bathroom were clean. For convenience & location it was good value wth Cavill Ave just a couple of hundred meters down the road & the ocean just 1block away & visable from the hotel room balcony. The WOSP (Wheel of Surfers Paradise) was also just next door to the hotel & a pleasant feature with all the lights lit up at night. I would recommend the Islander Resort for those travellers who want to save on accommodation to experience Surfers Paradise at its best (& sleeziest) & only plan to use your room for showering & sleeping in at night!

“Awesome holiday - Awesome price”

The islander resort looks abit old and worn out, but its location, comfort and affordability makes it a place that I will definately visit again. Gold Coast is awesome!

“It's great convenient location”

When we went, it was a less busy time, so we had a lot of quiet relaxing time. The room was perfect for travelling with a mate as there were double beds and as well as an extra bed in the living room. Love the balcony. Love the convenient of it. One minute walk to the beach. Go for a run every mornings as the sun rose out of the ocean.

“not bad for a budget”

Hotel location is perfect but rooms are tired look old style tv reception poor hasn't got latest channels small coffee making facility very poor all in one room i didn,t like it limited parking area more backpackers hotel
