“Basic Necessity”

Very friendly staff, convenient location and good breakfast. Only dissapoinment was no/disfunctional WiFi and afternoon and lunch on site restaurant. However, internet cafe and restaurants are well within walking distance.

“Will plan to go back again”

The room was big enough to repack our suitcases which was a big plus. The breakfast was generous and fresh. Shuttle service to the airport was prompt. No worries about a cab showing up on time. Best deal in the area.

“Second stay...we'll come back”

We stay here as a stop over on returning From annual trips to Italy. It's convenient, comfortable, has a wonderful breakfast, very clean and close to a good German restaurant.

“Clean, Well-Appointed, Great Value for an Overnight Stay”

Room was unexpectedly pleasant--large, well-furnished, and immaculate. Didn't take the pricey breakfast but it seemed complete and attractive. Shuttle from hotel to the airport was helpful and efficient. However, cab to hotel was more convenient and costed the same as the shuttle. No restaurants seen nearby: eat at airport before going to hotel. Overall, the Airport Domizil Hotel seemed a very good value for money and (when no air conditioning is required) a great way to hold down expenses while in transit through FRA.

“Very helpful staff - clean hotel”

The staff of this hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean, well maintained and pet friendly. Due to a flight delay, I had no dog food when I arrived for a third night at the hotel since it was late in the day the owner, Felix and his wife brought and provided dog food to me. Another staff member took the time to give me directions on how to get to Frankfurt using the bus and train. This was pretty easy. All front desk staff spoke English which was helpful since I don't speak German. I also had sent an email which was responded to in a prompt and friendly manner. The accommodations were fine, not fancy, but enough for my needs and my pet was accepted. Breakfast buffet was usual European fare, cheese, meat, yogurt, eggs, baguettes, and a selection of coffee/tea. The only drawback was having to pay for wireless service by the hour or day and then only being able to use it in the hotel lobby. Hotel was within easy walking distance to several good restaurants, a small mall and the bus stop. Not fancy but comfortable and friendly. I would have no problem staying here again.

“Good and Clean hotel near Frankfurt Airport”

I stayed only one night at this hotel but I was satisfied with service and cleanness of this hotel. It took me about 10-15 minutes to get there from the terminal and it cost me 25 Euros for the taxi. If I knew that hotel provides shuttle bus I would call and ask for it. I used this shuttle bus to get back to airport and it cost only 15 Euros. There are not too many interesting places around this hotel, except other hotels. It is clean and convenient for one or two night stay near Frankfurt airport. I would recommend it.

“Not great but cheap and good value for money”

This hotel is good for short stays and they only charged me 10 EUR for a taxi to the airport (took 15min) when I expected 15 EUR. The room was fairly spacious (not that I needed it). The bed was terrible but fine for a night and this hotel was by far the cheapest I found in the area, so taking into account the price this was much better than expected and I was very happy.

“Unbelievable value and quality”

The rooms were immaculate, the breakfast sumptuous - and included in the room rate. The staff we met were fluent in English, which we appreciated very much after spending 9 days using our Foreign Service Institute German and getting headaches trying to get gender and case straight - and the umlauts are murder! The room was larger than we expected, simple but elegant. We had a charge for the shuttle to the airport, but not exorbitant - and they were there promptly to get us to our flight. Very convenient for the airport, a twenty-minute drive into Altstadt Frankfurt for the evening before our flight. No question: I'd stay there again.

Area recommendations

The Platz area around St. Bartholemew's Church - and the shops and cafes there. Very pleasant walking and dining.
