Low cost room in a very nice locationPosted 28/09/2013
The bathroom is shared but the room is clean and located near all the attractions from florence. The best is the low cost compared to other hotels in the same area.

Perfect stay for a low budgetPosted 13/08/2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is full of pros : location is 30 steps from the main train station, facing the Santa Maria Novella cathedral. So quaint on the inside, high ceilings, balcony, new furniture, tile floors. We took the room that had the shower inside but we used a shared toilet. Its so central, quiet at night, the owner has an adorable golden retriever. The cons are : no ac, no free wifi, the first floor is reached after climbing 4 flights of stairs, no elevator. We got over those things easily though, we were in Florence after all! Plus, the café next door has free wifi so no big deal! Very happy with this place, especially considering the price.

Cool room, perfect location!Posted 21/06/2013 on Hotels.com
Location was incredible, across the road from train station and at the same time in a beautiful square and walkable to everything. We had the shower in our room and we deliberately wanted this room as we thought it was quirky and we seriously had no drama with it, it was very cool. The owner is incredibly helpful and very nice and willing to help with all queries. Only downfall is the hard bed and the square could sometime get noisy and we weren't even in a room facing it so ask for a room facing the train station if you can. All in all, would definitely stay here again :)

The hotel was clean and was perfect for how we used it: a commuting stop close to Florence train station.

Good location..lack of safety measuresPosted 18/04/2012
Pros: Private Bathroom was very spacious
Cons: Felt unsafe, no lock on bedroom doors
Although the room was spacious, comfortable and clean the hotel itself was disappointing. The hotel felt more like a hostel and in my opinion was unsafe for its guest, this is mostly down to an un-welcomed visitor attempting to access our hotel room in the early hours in which he was determined to get into, resulting in two very frightened girls calling the local police and fleeing the hotel. The rooms are accessed by key cards and have no lock on the inside, there was also no phone in the rooms or number to contact the Manager whom which we saw once when we arrived and once when the police arrived. There are lots of steps so be prepared to carry luggage. The hotel is however in a good location, with the train station right on its doorstep.
