“One to remember”
Friendly staff that made an effort to accommodate guests. However, the building was literally falling apart and parts of the motel were taped off because of structural deficiencies. The room smelled of mold and caused me to sneeze and have a runny nose. There were maybe 15 channels and one was porn. The police cruised through the parking lot on a regular basis. There was a huge german shepherd in the lobby when we checked in that apparently was a "watch" dog. Can honestly say I have never seen anything like it.
“Chicago”
I felt that the motel was not clean...
“Scary”
Me and a friend went here for the sole reason being that it was cheap, so considering the price if you need only to stay here for a night then it is not such a bad deal. However the condition of the room was terrible. We refused to take a shower after taking one look at the shower. The sink was also disgusting and it was hard to keep myself from throwing up while brushing my teeth. The whole feel of the place is just downright scary. It was difficult to find as it did not even register on my gps, and you have to take a few backroads to get to it. Probably wont be going back if I ever go to Chicago again.
“needs help”
for the price and an easy drive to Chicago, its ok, close to shopping and restaurants, interstate right on door step. Room was clean but run down. Requires a complete face lift. in ground pool not open, pop and snake machine both out of order. No tv controller, and internet was shaky at the best of times. For a cheap night it's good
“Sucks”
The hotel was dirty, a motorcycle was in the pool area and looked like it has been there for years. The bedroom was waterstained from a leaky ceiling. The sheets and towels were stained. Who knows about the comforter. Toothpaste in the sink, no toilet paper. The television had a porno channel that was way to easy to view. Kids should not be able to have access. The neighborhood was right on the interstate and run down. Overall, do not stay at Knights Inn.
“Dont go!”
This hotel is horrible. Room was filthy. Loud neighbors. Cops roaming the lot. Overall, a horrible stay.
“Don't go!”
It needed repairs extentively!
“Worst hotel I've been to. Will never be back.”
I'm very frugal when it comes to hotels, especially since I'm on the move a lot and often times, I only need a room for one night. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever been in. The television had about 2 channels that worked, the remote was missing, I could feel the springs of the bed mattress, the floor was cheap hardwood which would creak as I walked over it, the room smelled like a dirty garage, and worst of all, right outside my room there were a group of creepy looking men fixing their beat up truck all night trying to stare into my room. I couldn't wait to get out of that awful place! DO NOT stay here. You're better off paying more for a better room than risking your life at this terrible place.
