“Comfortable and easy.”
I spent a week in a one bed apartment. Fairly large actually. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice TV with cable news and movies. Although some of the funiture could be described as dated in taste it was all in good condition. Staff were friendly. Wireless internet was priced ok with the ability to use up my pruchaed 24 hour period over three days. The connection did drop out a few times. I chose this hotel for its price and location. It is about 10 minutes walk from the Greens shopping village. Easy access to and from Sheik Z Road. The gym was a bit disappointing with some average equipment and maintenance. Overall, for the price I got on Expedia it was a good hotel. Nothing flash but comfortable and ok value.
“How thing change in a short period of time.”
Arrived at the hotel at about 0400am check is was seemless, as it should be. Staff arranged car hire and drop off at the motel without a hitch. Evening meal was interesting to say the least, pizza delivered to the room. Breakfast started with meals cooked to your liking, buffet simple but nice. Then the change arrived. Meals to the room arrived in polystyrine boxes with plastic knife & fork. Bread was stale, meat portion of meal greazy and not enjoyable at all. Breakfast ............ cold omlete served from a baymarie onto polystyrine plates, yet again plastic knife, fork & spoon. Coffee & juices served in polystyrine cups. When questioning manager I was told "cost cutting" I asked about service, not cost effective to have hot meals served to table, not cost effective to have china plates & cups, not cost effective to have steel knife, fork and spoons. No servettes on tables, in fact only salt & pepper. What started out being a pleasant stay by virtue of penny pinching by hotel managment has turned out to be a thorn in my side, and forced me to find alternative sources of meals around the hotel.
