Amberstone Bar & Grill - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in this American cuisine restaurant, which is located off the lobby and features stonework, colored glass, and inlaid hardwood floors. Guests can grab items from a 24-hour hot and cold buffet, plus deli. Microbrews and other beverages are served in the bar, an intimate lounge with a large fireplace, two large Rocky Mountain murals, and 53-inch, high-definition TV.
Recreation
An exercise room with cardio and strength-training equipment is available year-round; an outdoor pool is open during the warmer months.
The 314-acre City Park, located three miles from the hotel, offers a golf course, tennis courts, horseshoes, two lakes, picnic sites, playgrounds, the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and baseball, football, and soccer fields.

“Helpful, friendly staff made experience wonderful.”
I found the hotel far exceeded the reviews I had read. Either major improvementw had been made since the original reviews, or some standards far exceeded reality. My room (a single with king bed) was clean, comfortable, and had FIVE pillows on the bed. A luxury, in my opinion, but SO welcome! All staff members were very nice and helpful - brought me extras without having to ask twice, and continued each day. Even the man who ran the laundry cart was friendly and greeted me each morning in the hallway. The Amberstone Grill (the hotel restaurant) had breakfast food to suit every style, and was deliclious. Waitstaff was wonderful -- attentive, but not intrusive. The front desk people were friendly, knowledgeable and seemed eager to help me out. Even the gift shop attendant offered to supply me with things I was looking for that they didn't normally carry. All in all, it was a great experience. It was my first stay at the Red Lion Denver Central, but it certainly won't be my last.
“What a great place for my expenditure for this tri”
It is a great place for the price that I paid. The room was very nice with excellent bed. There are other hotels around and the high way is there where I could easily access other places in driving.
“It was just perfect for the time I needed there”
I thought the motel was just perfect for the time I needed to spend there. They will even shuttle you over to the shopping centers and large stores nearby if you like. I was able to leave my car in the parking lot for a week, and they picked me back up from the airport and brought me back to the motel.

My wife and I were pleased with everything around our stay. The hotel was a little hard to find, but it served us very well. The shuttle service to and from the airport was very good. Will definitely use them again.

“Red Lion”
Needed a decent place to stay while checking out some music in Denver, so I stayed at the Red Lion. It was great because their shuttle saved me 25 dollars each time I rode back and forth from the airport and about a 25 dollar cab ride to downtown Denver. Within 5 minutes walking distance there's an IHOP, a Country Buffet, McDonalds, WalMart (so basicly anything you could possibly need), Arby's, and several other places a shorter distance away. I got a great deal at the time on the hotel and would reccomend it to anyone that wants to stay in Denver for a good price. Travelers vacationing Denver might want to look into a hotel that is in Downtown Denver though. Make sure to rent a car and leave the city and travel through the mountains!
“Great Hotel”
This hotel was comfortable, clean and relaxing. The only issue we had was the availability of good food within the hotel after 10 PM. Our flight arrived late due to snow and our only option within the hotel was the deli counter. The sandwiches were terrible, but the room and hotel itself was great.
“Red Lion Hotel in Denver”
We stayed in the Red Lion Central near the airport (there's another one Invesco Field) and were pleasantly surprised by everything the hotel had to offer. The lobby was new and beautiful and the room was comfortable. The bathroom was roomy, which is always a plus in hotels. The only thing I would recommend is that they don't charge their customer for High Speed Internet Service from their room. The only plus side is that the service is complimentary in their lobby.
