“We will definately go back.”
After reading previous reviews we expected to pay alot of money but found Le Sirene to be very reseasonably priced, certainly for the area. The location was lovely, very clean, peaceful and only a short drive to nearby ports where there is a wide selection of bars & restaurants. Look out for tortoises!!
“Great for yacht spotters and people watchers”
Do get a room with a marina view. All rooms have french doors straight on to a terrace. You can spend all day there watching people and boats come and go. Two minutes away is a choice of good restaurants and a couple of designer boutiques. Outside that you'll need a car. Quiet and ideal for couples, not particularly suitable for kids. No pool but nice sandy coves less than five minutes walk. We'll be back.
“Apartments with no self-catering facilities and few standard hotel facilities”
Hotel le Sirene is located a long way from anything so you need to rent a car in Olbia airport for your stay. It's location means without private transport you will be eating mostly in the 4 or 5 restaurants beside the hotel for your trip. Although the hotel charges hotel prices it has no standard hotel facilities except for a breakfast room, reception and internet access (5 euros per 30 mins!). Nice marina though.
