“Relaxing Holiday- Food excellent -Rooms need a re-vamp”
Arrived at 10am to the Hotel and shown to a room the size of a box looking out on the front entrance. It had a damp smell and was probably the first time the room was to be occupied for the start of the summer season. Complained and was moved to a side sea view room which was a little bigger. All the rooms have a strange set up in the bathroom with the shower in the centre of floor. Hotel surroundings are well maintained and the view from the pool is fantastic. Pool area is nice and quiet with gentle breeze as most people head to the beach which is a short walk. The sand is quite sharp on the feet. You will need a car to get to and from this hotel as it is well off the beaten track. The staff speak little or no english. Entertainment is the same guy playing to backing tracks every night. Drinks expensive. 16 Euros for two Gin and Tonics. Nearest Supermarket is near the airport and the same wine is 15 Euros cheaper than the hotel. Evening food is fantastic at this hotel. It is waiter service and every day has a different menu. Wine prices start at 20 Euros a bottle. Breakfast is adequate with the usual streaky bacon, scrambled eggs, cereals. Coffee is luke warm so I switched to tea and asked for a pot of boiling water each morning. Overall for excellent food, hotel surroundings I would recommend this hotel.

LOCALITA' CAPO CUNCHEDDI Olbia, OT , 07026 Italy
Nearest Major Airport:
Area:
Olbia, Italy: The Costa Smeraldas main arrival point, Olbia is one of Sardinias oldest towns, although much of it is now modern and sprawling. But the cobbled lanes in the old part of town around the Corso Umberto are full of good restaurants and some pretty piazzas to linger in over a drink. Olbias only real monument is the granite Romanesque church San Simplicio. Nearby are the prehistoric Nuraghi sites around Arzachena.
