“Fabulous and free parking”
A very pretty hotel with wonderful views and a swimming pool.Quiet place to stay
“Oasis”
The hotel is located in the foothills of the mountains just outside of Cordoba. It's about 15 minutes driving from the Mezquita-Cathedral and also the same distance to Madinat Al-Zahra. The grounds are well kept and it seems like a wonderful place to visit during the summers months as it has a neptune pool overlooking the city. The rooms however are a bit on the bland side. Cold gray marble floors, and foam like mattresses are the features to expect in the rooms. The entire hotel uses fluorescent lighting. While I'm sure it saves the hotel a bundle on the electric bill, at night you can't bear to keep your eye open in the place for too long as you'd probably wind up getting a headache. If you don't speak French, German, or Spanish, don't bother turning on the tv as there are no English channels offered at this hotel. This may afford the English speaking visitors more leisure time with no tv, but it goes both ways. If you're a news junkie like me, then you have to wait. Another negative point is that there is no internet service available for visitors. One last thing, while breakfast is adequate even at the hefty price of nine euros, lunch and dinner should be had elsewhere as the food is simply AWFUL!
“An OK place to stay”
Hotel is far from the center of the city but offers decent rooms at a reasonable price. The surroundings are picturesque, but the tennis players were still noisily enjoying the courts at midnight. A car is a must if staying here.
“not the cleanest but not bad”
The view was great from the hotel. rooms were okay, not a 4 star according to canadian standards. not as clean as we expected but on a great property. staff was very accommodating however. hotel is about 10 mins from town. pool was great!
“Could be better”
This hotel has the potental to be excellent - unfortunately it was not. it needs a makeover. The staff were not very helpful. Rooms are very small and noisy. It has a wonderful position but you either have to drive and park in town or take a taxi each time!
“Food was terrible, therefore would not recommend this hotel.”
We stayed at the hotel for dinner given that it is a 15 minute drive from Cordoba. However, the food was terrible which spoiled the stay.
