“Easy to get to when visiting our daughter at college”

Clean, friendly and close to Ohio State where our daughter attends. Always get a nice clean room when we need one.

“Rough around the edges”

Room was clean. No odor. Cable TV did not work but was fixed. Exterior run down and shabby. Could not get two adjacent rooms although the place appeared to be almost empty. Management's explanation: "Maybe they're steam cleaning the rooms or something." The motel is located right next to railroad tracks and trains passed several times during the night but the noise was not unbearable. Loud guests who appeared to be transients using profane language out in the parking lot the next morning. Young men who may have been workers or maintenance people hanging about the office talking loudly in a foreign language when we checked in. Wife saw young women in short shorts and high heels in the office late in the evening. All in all not an inviting warm and cozy place if you have your family in tow.

“Get what you Pay for.”

All I needed was a room to crash for the night and maybe take a shower after a long day at the ROTR. No towels, broken reclining chair, flat pillows, old sheets, no caulking around tub, and a half of a roll of toilet paper. Oh, and there was a train track right next to the hotel with freight trains going by all night. I didn't pay alot so I shouldn't have expected too much. But man...no towels?

“Maintanence a problem”

Air Conditioner didn't work. Hair Dryer broken but was replaced. Room safe needed a battery and didn't work, not fixed. Location was fine and as expected.

“Dirty little hotel”

Husband staying @ hospital. & an expo @ the convention center. There wasn't any hotel rooms available close. I saw this one booked a single double bed, non smoking room for three days through expedia. We got to there early. They checked the room and it was ready. Charged my credit card even after I told them I had already paid. @ the room.... The lamps were broken, the sink had no drain cover, the bathtub was brown with the distinct black dirt ring, the sink counter was not washed. Looked for the tv remote wasn't in the room. Looked in the drawers they were dirty, and one had the end of A joint someone had smoked. I went down to get the remote, they said they would bring it. Was just dirty. Husband called to cancel and they were rude. If I had a camera I would have taken pictures. Because he pictures they have are very misleading.

“Will never go back to this hotel”

I was very upset with my stay at this hotel. The price was extremely affordable; however, the room was not very clean. My biggest problem was the items I found in the room. Upon checking out, I moved the nightstands in my room to make sure I didn't drop any change or jewelry on the floor. Behind a nightstand, I found a brown paper bag that contained drug paraphernalia (spoon, needles, etc.). I was OUTRAGED!!! Especially since my small dog had spent time in the room. Thank God he was in a kennel when I was not in the room. To top it off, when I immediately called the front desk, they didn't even send anyone to the room like I requested. Apparently they didn't care. The only thing they wanted me to do was fill out a complaint form. The drug paraphernalia could be back behind the nightstand for all I know. I wasn't going to touch it.

The hotel is right on the railroad tracks in not the best part of town. Sleeping was difficult. There were transients in the parking lot.

“GOD AWFUL!!! DO NOT EVEN THINK OF LODGING THERE!”

So much negative about this place I dont know where to begin lol! Well here it goes: I pull up... litter everywhere on the property.. the parking lot pavement in bad shape; Only had one set of towels .. towels thin and frayed; Non smoking room smelled like stale smoke.. could not get the smell out of the air; no clock in room; internet was terribly slow; channels were limited .. did not have NBC or ABC which I thought was quite odd; the laundry room filthy ... washer and dryers a mess; microwave dreadfully dirty....actually an embarrassment; the biggest thing was the trash all over the property... no one picking up the litter and the guests there extremely loud and rude and did not care where they thru their trash... in parking lot and in the stair ways... It was pathetic. I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT EVER GO TO THAT ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN ... TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT!
