“Does what it says on the tin...”
A basic, comfy, good-value hotel, nice friendly staff and clean rooms. Good amenities, including free WI-FI and satellite TV.
“Solid business travel accommodations”
Hotel has a "german" minimalist feel to it with the bed made with only a fitted sheet and a down comforter covered with a duvet. I like this. I could open the window at night and allow the room to get down to 60 degrees Fahrenheit and and REALLY slumber. High speed internet is free and reasonably fast. TV is excellent by my measure for a UK hotel (usually only get half dozen channels). Housekeeping was good but during an 8 night stay I only got a ONE bar of soap and I had to go to the desk and ASK for that one! Cripes, if I have one micro-soap pellet in the shower, can I get ONE for use at the sink? Doesn't seem like a lot to ask. Never did get another plastic disposable cup, no matter how grimy the one I got on checkin was looking. Well if that's how they keep the price down, I guess I can live with it.
