“"More than expected"”

This was a last minute booking as we needed to be in the area for three nights and were fortunate to get a cancellation booking. The room was a treat and blew the wife away. The light airey colours, ornate bath and powerful shower and lovely decor made you feel so comfortable. Very good breakfast menu choice coupled with friendly banter from the owner was right up my street. The owner is a character in his own right and in my view adds to the whole experience of your stay. The res of the staff very friendly and efficient and appear to work as a good team. The evening meal was the ultimate made from fresh produce - the wifes starter, a seafood dish was almost like a main course. Only drawback that I could find is that the restaurant is shut on Sunday evenings - but then I suppose everyone is due a day off !!!! However I understand that there are plans to extend the restaurant facilities next year. Long may the Old Rectory at Broseley prosper.

very nice hosts, found the bed a bit small but there is nothing like your own bed. close to ironbridge a lovely historic location food excellent clean place peacfull break thanks to dave and sylvia
