“City Palms Stay”

Only problem was fire alarm went off in the early hours of the morning, we evacuated, there was no fire and no staff to inform us what the problem was or to turn off the alarm 1/2 an hour sitting outside - But overall OK for the price

“Disappointing Stay”

I was disappointed with my stay at the City Palms Motel. It is an old establishment and in need of a good spruce up. My room was dark and dank. Lighting was poor, the toilet seat was holding on by a thread and the bed had a base with wheels, which kept rolling around on the tile floor when I sat on it. There were no comfortable chairs to sit in. Fortunately I was only there for one night.

“Not Impressed”

When I arrived at the motel-there was no electric and water was coming out of the fridge-when I complained the young man downstairs just put towels on the floor and said he would clear it up in the morning. I didnot like the area as I thought it was nearer to Brisbane town-next morning I told him that I would be looking for a hotel in Brisbane he assured me that would not be charged the full amount-I have been charged.
