“Airport Inn Review”
Overall satisfaction was good but having adjoining bathroom was a small issue.
“Convenient to the airport and public transport to the city”
The accommodation was fine for the one night we stayed and the location gave us easy access to the citycat ferry which took us directly to the city. The trip to the airport was quick and easy the following morning. The hotel manager was very accommodating with our requests. The only downside was middle of the night noise from other guest going up and down the stairs with what seemed to be little regard for people sleeping.
“Disappointed”
I have stayed in many a hotel / motel in different states of Australia and I found this particular motel to be below standards for the daily rate. On the first day the room was not made up however the remainder was. The rooms are very small with very outdated furnishings with the reception area occupied from 10.30am to 10.30pm. This motel may suit any person making a quick stop over, late at night.
“YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.”
Given the choice of a seat at the airport or a night at this hotel, the seat at the airport wins hands down.
“Poor”
I didn't have high expectations of this hotel as it was just an overnight stop before an early flight out of Brisbane. The most important criteria was its proximity to the airport. It met this requirement. On checking in we were advised that we would need to "follow the instructions regarding the bathroom" When I enquired further this was because we would be sharing it with the guests in the next door room. I asked for a room with its own bathroom and was advised that there were none available. It wasn't until I said that we would look for another hotel that they were able to find a room with a private bathroom - or at least one that did not have any guests in the adjoining room. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but it was small and rather dark. It served the purpsoe, but I would not stay there again.
“Didaster in Brisbane”
The hotel was close to the airport although we had to use the shuttle from the motel next door. The manager had the room next to mine andd he played head banging music and entertained his friends all night long even though I asked for the music to stop. The walls are paper thin and every sound can be heard. No telephone in my room, no internet. My bathroom adjoined the managers room and the lock was on his side. Definately a place to be avoided.
