“Family from Burns, TN.”
We stayed at Baymont Bowling Green b/c we were visiting Beech Bend Park. If we weren't at the park they were in the pool at the hotel. We will stay here again. It was quiet and comfortable.
“close to everything”
Loved our stay, Atrium is very nice, nice staff, great location, Dennys 100 ft, from room, discount with room key, good food
“parents liked it”
I got this room for my parents when they were down for a visit, they enjoyed their stay and said the rooms were nice and clean.
“Bowling Green "Best Western" - NOT!”
When I booked the room, the motel was listed as a "Best Western" motel. It may have once been, but not now - it's the Baymont Motel and "a bit difficult" to find #HINT - it's tucked in BEHIND another motel#! To be fair - they were in the process of replacing signs, but the Best Western sign on the highway was covered/gone!
“Super staff, we felt like royalty.”
Positive: The staff was exceptional and made our stay more fun because of them. We brought our small dog, and the staff fell in love with her. Positive: Loved the atrium pool, kiddie pool and hot tub. Negative: The atrium roof is clear, which made that entire section of the hotel where we stayed super hot. It was even too hot to enjoy the breakfast.
“ok for the money”
Hair on the bathroom floor, did not clean or change towels one day. Front desk not sure about reservations and what to charge,
“Good for a family that wants to swim.”
Rooms need to be updated. The bathroom has been hack and slashed together. Drain in tub was very slow.
“OK but pricey for what you get.”
The hotel was "frayed" around the edges. There was no channel guide for the television. It was hard to get enough towels for two people. We arrived 10 minutes before the check in time of 4 p.m. and had to wait to check in. The hotel was a solid OK for an overnight stay, but not extended. The main objection was the rough corners for the price. There was too much money for what was delivered.
“Ok, but not recommended.”
The front desk staff was great and I must say that the beds were very comfortable. The problem was that it was not very clean. The bathroom floor was dirty and the roach traps were visible in the room. Also, the blanket on the bed had burn holes even though we requested a non-smoking room. Overall, it smelled heavily of smoke.
“Ok, but we'll choose somewhere else next time.”
This is a hotel where you get what you pay for, a somewhat clean room with little else to speak of. We chose this hotel because they allowed pets and our two dogs were traveling with us. Pros: -The staff were very friendly and polite. -Our dogs were allowed in the room. -Mini fridge and microwave. Cons: -There were mushrooms growing out of the carpet by the window. -The shower backed up after a couple minutes of being used. We both took our showers with the tub half full of dirty water and then politely asked them to fix it while we were gone that day. They assured us they would and we didn't check it until we showered again the next morning - it wasn't fixed. -The closet door was off the tracks and barely moved when trying to open it. I was able to put it back on the tracks but it still didn't work well.
