“A quiet place in the mountains especially off season”

The appartment was nicely appointed and the facilities were good. There was a pleasant terrace. The only complaint was that there was nowhere comfortable to sit in the evenings and read or listen to music. Would have been useful to have had a couple of armchairs to relax after a day walking in the mountains.

“Basic but reasonably priced”

You get what you pay for - This was the cheapest accommodation that we could find in the area (wanting to be close to Cortina) and the accommodation reflected that cheapness. We stayed in a bilocale which sleeps up to 5 - it was quite basic but clean. It was a bit gloomy because of the trees and well away from the town up a hill. The Hotel Boite which you could use (for bar and internet but not much else) seemed less basic We did not use the spa - although it looked nice it seemed expensive even with the discount. Almost every time we used the hob to cook anything the electric went off. It was easy to reset but very irritating. Walls were also quite thin so although it wasn't noisy you could hear almost everything from next door / floor above. Recommended if you simply want somewhere to put your head down at night.
