The Hotel Merkur is situated directly opposite Interlaken West railway station and ship terminus. We welcome you to our friendly atmosphere. As a 3 star superior hotel we can offer you every comfort. Show more All rooms have bath or shower- toilet- radio- telephone and cable TV. Additional information- Children under the age of 2 stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult- Extra bed CHF 40. Check-out till 11am. Check-in from 2pm-9pm. “We liked it a lot.”

Great location. Close to train station. Our room on the 4th floor had nice view of river and mountains. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. cont. breakfast was excellent.Room was comfortable and clean.

“Will come back again”

Excellent place to stay.Even though moderatley cheap its worth staying there.Very near to train station.Good views surrounding interlaken from window.Breakfast area is a bit congested,but its adjustable.Very good option for honeymoon couples looking for cheap comfortable stay.

“Interlaken the best when you stay with good view.”

As mentioned in other comments the hotel is close by to station, restaurants and shops. But staying near the station is really not required to enjoy the ambience of interlaken it's good to stay in leutterban which is not commercial. The breakfast was good. The room was also neat but doesn't have a good view.

“Cheap motel with free breakfast”

If you need a cheap motel with free breakfast next to the Interlaken West train station, this is your place. For free and weak signal internet access, you need to stay near the front desk. Then again, for the price you can't expect too much.
