“Great Budget Hotel”

If you don't mind no telephone in your room, the reception will let you make a local call from their phone, just ask. Fast internet in the lobby you can use for free. I had to exchange my own towels, there's not daily room service. Buffet was good, Pool room has a television and drinks for 1 euro each. The bus stop is super close, train station is a little longer of a walk than I would have liked, you have to cross a busy street. Shell is within walking distance for big bottles of water or necessecities and it's open till 11pm or midnight. There's a grocery store nearby but they close early, you can walk from the hotel as well. There's only one Chinese restaurant within walking distance, I didn't try it because my German friend took me out for Currywurst Pommes. But this hotel was well worth the money and I would stay again as long as I had a friend drive me around or a car rental! Please note: There's a young gentlemen reception person that speaks fluent English, German, and French but when he is off (he gets 3 days off per 2 weeks) there's a Polish speaking only reception gentleman that doesn't understand English and very little German, so I used the internet to translate English to Polish in order to communicate with him effectively, he found it funny but it worked =)

“nice hotel, extremely good value”

Hotel B1 is comparable to many other hotels where I've stayed, but Hotel B1 is about 1/3 of the price. Plus they have free wireless internet in all rooms and many places that are much more expensive don't even have that. The only downside to Hotel B1 is that they are a little bit outside of the city centre, but the other factors make this my first choice for a hotel in Berlin. If I ever go to Berlin again, I'll definitely stay here again.

Great Value. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

“Good value for the price”

Good value for the price, particularly the breakfast and room size. Clean but not friendly. The Google map places it wrongly on the road and the hotel should provide instruction on how to reach it.
