“Impressed”

Considering the price paid, I thought this hotel was very good. It was clean and tidy. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room were very helpful. We did have one problem with the bathroom/toilet, but it was resolved the same day. The hotel does need to either delete or update their website though because this does not represent the facilities available today. Generally, very happy.

“Great Hotel and Location”

Even though we arrived at the Oasis hotel before their checkin time of 1.00pm , we were able to leave our bags in a secure room allowing us to look around area till 1.00pm. The room was basic but had everything you need. It was very clean and tidy with towels changed everyday if need be. The location was great 5 mins to the harbour district and 5/10 mins from la ramblas. There was also a tour bus stop just round the corner. We didnt have breakfast in the hotel even though it was served , we found many small cafes around the area where you could get anything from a full english to croissants and coffee. I would recommend using the tour buses to get around the city as you can get on and off wherever you want. If you get on the bus and have to sit downstairs because the top deck is full dont worry because before they let anyone else on at the next stop, after people have got off the top deck, they give you the option of going upstairs to the top deck . Overall we would recommend both the city and the hotel for a short city break , this was our first time booking thru expedia and everything went very smoothly and we would definitely use them again.

“Newly renovated part of hotel perfect”

We were placed in the 'new' part of this hotel, and were very pleasantly surprised with our room. Though it was 2 twin beds as opposed to a queen, they were pushed together and it was not an issue in terms of room space. The bathroom was huge for Europe, and the room was overall very modern. In a great location - plenty of tapas bars for every price range near by, and a less than a minute from the metro. Would definitely go back if I find myself in Barcelona again.

“An Amazing Find”

Oasis is clean and very comfortable. It's perfectly located in the Barceloneta neighborhood, with tons of excellent restaurants, tapas bars, plazas, shops, and the beach only moments away. It's central without being too close to the tourist-trap of Las Ramblas. I paid more for this than a hostal in the Raval (which was awful) and definitely got my money's worth for spending extra.

the room and bed was very nice. The hotel is very close to the picasso museum and near the hop on hop on hop off bus. the were some nice tapas places near as well. It was easy to get the bus or cab to the cruise ship.

“Very Impressed.”

We stayed (4 of us in 2 rooms) for 2 nights prior to cruising out of Barcelona. The hotel was very clean, staff very helpful and the hotel very conveniently located for exploring Barcelona. Great cafe next door for breakfast.

“Great location”

Smaller room but a great location. Very near train station, bus lines, Barcelonetta, and the old (tourist) parts of Barcelona. Terrific value for the area. Plenty of dining options nearby.

Very nice hotel, loctaed in very good place, near the old town and metro, stuff was very nice and polite room a bit small but its ok, if you are in to traveling and expoloring the city all day, hot water, warm room had a good time!!!
