“Best location to visit Acadia National Park and surrounding area”

The owners of the motel were extremely accommodating and very warm and friendly; We couldn't ask for a better location, allowing us the availability to go in any direction with ease. It had all the comforts that we needed, as well as a nice breakfast in the A.M. on the open-air patio, looking at the beautiful flowers growing in the adjacent garden. We would recommend the motel to anybody, and intend to go back the next visit to Acadia and Maine.

“Clean, convenient and quiet!”

I had read previous reviews that described this motel as "quaint" and "quirky" so I was curious to see it for myself. It was kinda cool - nothing fancy, but that's part of its charm. The rooms were very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. It was conveniently located close to Acadia National Park, but not in the middle of the chaos of Bar Harbor.

“Nice place to stay during the mini-lobster croquet”

This is my second stay at this motel and find that the owners Ariela and Chuck are most helpful in making my stay enjoyable. I like the continental breakfast choices. The room is most comfortable and the thermistat is at proper temperature.I will return hopefully next year.

“Great value”

The hotel was nicely furnished. The staff was friendly. The area was quieter than most because it was not on a major highway. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that that they offered a continental breakfast. Would stay again in the future.

“Quaint, cozy and convenient”

There was a very cozy feel. The room was clean, we could bring our dog. The owners were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good, even thought it was not the full continental during the off season. Yes, I would recommend the Twilite Motel, and will definitely return to it if we are in the area again.

The host family was super friendly. The breakfast was great. The room was impeccable for cleanness and well stocked for towels, etc.

Clean, clean, clean!!! The owners are very helpful and it's nice to have such knowledgable people to help you with visiting the sites. Very comfortable!!

“Cutsey Hotel”

I would describe the motel as a 50's cutsey type hotel. It was quiet and clean, but not a lot of spece if you plan to spend a great deal of time in the room.

“Great for the price!”

This was a very well kept motel and we spent a restful night here. I would recommend this place to anyone trying to keep to a budget.
