I booked it because of the pool - It was closed throughout the summer. In fact nothing was right about this hotel. The free wireless internet in the reception didn't work so we had to walk for 35mins to a hotel where we could pay to use their internet. The 24 hour reception was open 9 till 6. This three star hotel was a two star when we turned up. The bedroom with twin beds had one comfortable one and one that was so uncomfortable that I tried to sleep on the metal sofa bed. The springs had gone in the metal sofa bed so I rolled into the middle and it squeaked everytime I moved. I ended up sleeping on the leather sofa without putting it down. The bathroom had a boiler that leaked so they used an old pop bottle to catch the water and I had to keep emptying it. The drain in the middle of the bathroom had a top that would fall off leaving an open grate. The balcony was dark and horrible because it looked onto the back of a shed and some overgrown weeds. After 4 nights I tried asked if we could leave early they told me to contact expedia. The manager then disappeared and refused to tell me if they would charge me for the extra nights.The manager claimed to not be in the building even though he was. I tried to settle the bill. He refused to tell me the amount I was being charged until I saw the credit card slip= they charged me for the time I'd cancelled. Manager refused to call me a taxi so I had to drag the suitcase for 45 mins to coach ruining my suitcase and my holiday.
