Nice hotel, with a very good location.Posted 26/11/2013
Pros: Nice location, nice rooftop pool to cool off in after breakfast or before dinner.
Cons: The only negative for me were the overly firm pillows on the beds.
Location: Walking distance to The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, The Amulet Market, Kao San Rd. and other sights.
The hotel is small and intimate, with a great location. It is located on the River, we enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle of the commuters and boats while eating our wonderful breakfasts from the patio. Very easy to catch a taxi to get to other locations, staff was quite helpful. Felt as though we were really experiencing Bangkok and not insulated in some corporate luxury high rise.

Good for budgeting, great location by pier 13Posted 11/10/2013
Pros: Direct river taxi access
Cons: A lot
Location: Wat Pho and Grand Palace very close by
Location was very good: next to Pier 13 for easy access to river taxi travel. Plenty of shops, marts, and coffee shops nearby. But hotel is dated. Bed was super duper hard - like wood. Staff were a bit rude and accused us of stealing a robe. Obviously, inventory was not taken properly before we arrived. Roof pool tasted....weird. Maybe affected by Bangkok pollution...? Otherwise, budget hotel is fine for a short stay.

Great location, corner room's balcony has view to both the river and busy street. Helpful staff.

Great locationPosted 14/07/2013
Overlooking the river, next door to a ferry station, great restaurant, 7/11 nearby, short walk to khao san san road. Highly recommended!

Clean, comfortable, friendly base.Posted 14/07/2013
Location: Convenient for river transport
Great location, clean and comfortable. Convenient for cheap and fast river transport. Pool nice after a day sightseeing. Staff oozing with good manners. Riverside rooms are quieter than others in this lively district. Liked the character of the hotel as it isn't one of the huge "chain" hotels.

Convenient riverside hotel near Khao San RoadPosted 28/06/2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is located AT the N13 ferry pier, which means it is incredibly easy to use the river ferries to go to the Grand Palace and Wat Po. It is also a 10 minute walk from Khao San road where you can do a lot of shopping (specifically for souvenirs, jewelry, and tailored clothing). The room was pretty standard and very clean, but I agree with others that there is some noise from a couple of bars nearby (featuring terrible karaoke) if you are staying on the city side. The noise subsides around 1 am, so if you are staying out late, that shouldn't be too much of a problem!

Great for friends on a short tripPosted 23/06/2013
Pros: very helpful staff
Location: Great access for Khao San Road and much of the city but without feeling too "amongst it"
Great hotel for comfort and location without breaking the bank

Fabulous service, hotel and locationPosted 19/06/2013 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so friendly, the location so convenient and a nice clean, spacious room with air con. We didn't pay for a room with a view, so weren't disappointed that we could only see the roof tops. The breakfast was a great surprise, with plenty of Western and Thai options!

A GREAT hotel!Posted 05/06/2013
Pros: Free wifi EVERWHERE in the hotel...the pool...and the food.
Cons: The 1000 baht a night "joiner fee" that is WAAAAAAY too high.
Location: Perfect location! Central to everything.
Overall the hotel was AMAZING! Free wifi Internet everywhere in the hotel, multiple room keys (which most hotels in Thailand refuse to do), a beautiful pool, and a superb breakfast that was included at no additional cost... I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and even booked a night on June 15th when I have to go through Bangkok again on my way to Hong Kong. My ONE complaint is that their "add a person" fee is a little ridiculous. A friend decided to join me and share my bed... the hotel charged us an additional 1000 bahts a night "joiner fee". (That was almost half the cost of the room on Expedia...and he was sharing my bed. When I checked on Expedia, the price for an additional person did not even change the price of the room... but it was too late to change the booking.) As long as you change it with Expedia before the cut-off day you'll be fine. (I just felt a little robbed.)
