“Try Another Hotel”
Could not fault the staff - they are the friendliest and most wonderful people whose smiles light up your day. The gardens are lush, mature and superb and are a treat to walk through and the pool was excellent but the hotel itself was a huge let down. it is old and very tired and a a smell of rising damp on the ground floor was overpowering at times. The hotel needs some serious money injected into it to bring it up to the typical Nusa Dua standard. The food also was a let down and we stopped looking forward to breakfast after day 2. Have been travelling to Bali and staying primarily at Nusa Dua/ Tanjung Benoa for several years now but I will not be returning to this hotel. I can understand why it is only 3.5 stars.
“not long enough!”
Excellent staff service and in excellent beach area. 2 pools, nice beach and entertainment every night. Will definitely stay there again.
“Brilliant Bali Hotel”
The minute I stepped out of the taxi from the airport I was greeted by warm and friendly staff. The room was beautiful and so was the entire hotel. My friend and I were very happy with the quality of service and would stay again. On my final day I went around and shook the hands of all the staff that I had encountered, they were brilliant and helped us with everything. Such a relaxing time in a tranquil setting.
“Great Value for Location”
This is a great value hotel. Especially if you need to be close to the airport for a night or two. Great location for Nusa Dua restaurants, shopping and transportation (free shuttle to shopping and complimentary taxis to area restaurants). If you plan to be in Bali longer, stay here 2 nights and move on to some of the more remote locations for authentic Balinese experience.
“Very, very pleasant stay.”
The Ramada stay was great for us. The hotel is beautiful, it's employees extremely pleasant and helpful and the service was great. The facilities are top class and we especially enjoyed the breakfast area, service and the variety and myriad of food and drink provided each morning. One small observation here though is that at those times when there was a maitre'd on duty (who stood at the 'Please wait to be seated" sign and directed people to their seats) things were always orderly, when not there, some people (very rude) just barged through ahead of others in front. This annoyed many of us who witnessed these occassions. Overall, a magic stay at the Ramada and Nusa Dua in general, away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Legion.
“Ramada Benoa bali - Inexpensive option with great pool”
We found this hotel as a last minute option to spend theNew Year in Bali. We are Europeans that live in Singapore. it was full of Dutch , Russian and Scandinavian guests hence It has more of a European resort feel than Bali. It was good value but not the most luxurious I've stayed at in Bali. Not much character , except for a great pool area with swim up bars. It would probably be good for families (we are a couple). Not directly on the beach but they have a beach across the road at the Tao beach restaraunt that you can use. Not enough chairs at peak times though and the pool boys seem to save them for guests that never show up ! Our pool view room was ok, but the neighbours next door complained about the sound of our TV in the evening. So I suspect that the walls are thin. a nice fruit bowl on arrival awaited us though and the rooms are very clean with many TV channles. Internet cost is reasonable also. The breakfast buffet wasn't great and the dining room looked a bit grubby. We tried to eat outside the hotel and there are plenty of options nearby. The check in is under staffed and chaotic and you have to wait around for a while if you need to check out / change rooms etc. Overall, a cost effective option to stay in the middle of the Nusa Dua tourist area if you want to be in the heart of the action. Not a quiet/romantic retreat.
“Truly Relaxing even with kids”
We truely enjoyed our time here after staying in near Kuta - it was quiet & relaxing. There was plenty to do with the kids - swimming in our villa pool or one of the two larger pools which were both fabulous. The pool across the road (near the beach) is the better option with young children - with their shade umbrellas & shallow area designed for kids. All the staff from the moment we got there to when we left were all very helpful. The villa was larger than we expected - the only thing was if staying with young children the 2 bedrooom villa with pool is probably not the ideal room set up to choose as the stairs from the top to the bottom storey are external stairs rather than internal & there is no way of locking the door from the inside so the children can not escape. The hotel was very nice & did offer us a villa without a pool for this very reason but we wanted the privacy of swimming on our own if we wished. The included breakfast each morning was wonderful & there was plenty of choice even for our fuzzy little eaters. The only thing we did not like is that they hotel has smoking tables allowed - so whilst you are trying to eat you are sucking in others fumes. I guess the best question to always ask is would I stay there again? Absolutely, it was exactly what we needed to relax for 4 days before we flew home.
“If you have to stay in Nusa Dua”
Nusa Dua is not my choice of an area to stay - but it was close to where my convention was. For a real holiday, I'd head to Seminyak or Ubud. But if you have to stay in Nusa Dua, then this hotel is not a bad choice. It's very well maintained with huge rooms, very comfortable, and good service. Lots of tourists, but that's what you'd expect in Bali. And the price was reasonable. That's all I have to say.
“A nice quiet place to stay!”
This hotel is well managed with service second to none! The environment was clean, quiet, and a great place to get away from it all! If you're into water sports, then you picked a perfect location - as the beach with all of this activity is right outside (100m from the front).
“We loved the Hotel and the staff we so friendly and helpful. Our suite was gorgeous!”
Overall this Hotel is highly recommended due to the quality of the rooms, the food, the friendliness of the staff and the laid back feel it had. It was clean with a nice pool, swim up bar and small gym. The suite we booked was wonderful, with a 4 poster bed and living room, they even put a DVD player in there for us! All in all the staff really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The only draw back if you want a nice beach is that this end of Nusa Dua does not have a good beach, and you must cross the road to be on the beach. The Thai restaurant belonging to the Hotel is on the beach and we loved the food there.
