“Impressed”
This hotel consists of villas only, which are very good (including private swimming pool). Meals for breakfast is good, but it's not enough various. The single problem: there is not own private beach.
“Best value for money private villa”
We had a wonderful experience. The highlights were definitely the rooms which were large and luxurious with a bathroom as large as the bedroom, four posted bed with netting and a cozy living room. The pool was beautiful and private with your own gazebo. I recommend to try to get a room that has an infinity pool. The staff were incredible and quickly responded to every need we had. We never had to call twice to get something delivered our fixed. 5 star service. They even held and played with our baby during breakfast so we could eat. The breakfast buffet is average but satisfying. I definitely recommend this for a couple looking to get away from the hustle and bustle to have a relaxing and romantic time in total luxury.
“Rats”
We were very impressed upon first arriving at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and courteous and the pool villa was lovely, with nice landscaping and sitting areas. However, approximately half an hour after settling-in, we noticed a small rodent run across the top of the tv unit. We called housekeeping, who turned up with three people, a black bin back, bug spray and a stick. They weren't able to catch it. And in all of the commotion, a very large rat also appeared from behind the sofa we had been relaxing on. The two rats ran into the bathroom and were assumed by the hotel staff to have gone underneath the bathtub, which they had filled with water and rose petals. The staff said that they would check if another villa was free. They eventually moved us to another, less private one. We never did fully relaxed. Then, the morning of checkout, we noticed some small droppings on the floor near the shower. It was disappointing that the hotel did not offer us an upgrade or a discount, knowing the problems that we had the first night. We left with the impression that rats must be a common occurence in their hotel, which would explain why our issue didn't deserve any special apology or treatment. Due to our experience, we would not recommend this hotel and also suggest that Expedia review whether it should continue to be advertised on their website.
