“Nice business hotel”

Excellent option for business trip

“Very nice for a good price for a downtown hotel”

I really enjoyed my stay here. The only complant was that the coffee maker was very cheap and a poor design. The coffee pot leaked everytime you poured a cup of coffee. I'd like to come back to this hotel, though.

“Close to Home”

Extended Stay America Austin - Downtown - 6th St. is a well priced hotel in the heart of downtown. It is so close to the major thoroughfares Lamar, Guadalupe and Congress that your travel time is cut dramatically. This leaves more time to enjoy the sights, tastes and songs of Austin. Each room contains a kitchenette with your own ice trays and the hot water never runs out, although I did my best. However, you must remember to turn down the fridge temperature or your travel goodies will spoil. This hotel is close to the Warehouse district so if you are not going to enjoy the nightlife, know that others will be and rather loudly. If you will be going out, you are one or two blocks from many great clubs and bars. This hotel should not be passed up. Enjoy your stay in the "Live Music Capital of the World".

“Great hotel at an ever better location and a good price!”

The extended stay on sixth street is probably one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The staff was great and the rooms were nice. The only thing missing was a bar or a pool.

“Great hotel”

This was a great deal. We were exactly in the right location with this hotel. The room was clean and just right. I loved the little kitchen with the burns. It also has a full size refrigerator not one of those little ones.

“Huge room!”

We had a group of four women and the room was big enough for everyone to get ready at the same time without being in each others' ways and there was fridge for beer.

“Exactly what I was looking for...”

Went for business and it worked out great. The hotel was exactly what I was looking for, no problem staying there again.

“A Great Deal!”

For price and location (downtown) Extended Stay can't be beat. 3 blocks west of (Starbucks &) Congress on W 6th Street, you are in walking distance of everything and steps away from a bus up to the UT campus. Not a luxury hotel, but who needs one when you are there to see and enjoy the city. Clean rooms, decent beds and windows that actually open. I've stayed at the Stephen Austin and the Raddisson but appreciated the lack of hubbub at Extended Stay more than I did the amenities at the other two hotels. And we are talking New Year's Eve weekend. I certainly will stay there again.
