Was a clean older hotel, very clean, very comfortable. Close to the Orange Peel. Staff was very friendly.

Upon arrival, had a plumbing problem. Staff immediately had us change rooms, with an upgrade. Pleasant staff, good location. Small motel, which we prefer. Good restaurant

“Great experience at the Howard Johnson”

We stayed at the Howard Johnson for over a week and had a great experience. The staff, rooms and location were great. Check-in was very easy, and the front desk staff were very helpful answering our questions.

“Excellent Budget Hotel!”

I booked 2 rooms at the Howard Johnson for a weekend trip that my friends and I took to Asheville. I selected this hotel because the description said it was near the entrance to the Biltmore, and each room had 2 queen beds. The hotel exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff was very friendly, the rooms were extremely comfortable, and access to the interstate and the Biltmore was excellent. The exterior of the hotel is very dated, but the value that we got for the price was excellent and I will definitely stay here again.

Very Clean! Walking distance to the Biltmore's front gate, and several restraunts (even a Starbucks). Secure and Clean, just a little out dated. Frendly Staff!

We visited Asheville to spend time at Biltmore. This hotel was conveniently located to Biltmore as well as other Asheville sites and restaurants. It was very comfortable, and we were satisfied.

“Very comfortable and convenient”

We stayed two nights in this hotel in order to see the Biltmore Estate. The hotel is two blocks from the entrance to the Estate and also to the charming Biltmore Village, with shops and restaurants. The staff was unfailingly helpful and friendly. The restaurant is OK (good breakfast) and the wait staff excellent. The room rates are extremely reasonable.

The hotel was great, and the service was very fine. Rooms are neat. The breakfast was very good. the hotel is in downtown, and very near to the interstates. If I'll go again to Asheville, I'll accommodate there.
