“Cheap & cheerful, clean and happy to help.”

You get what you pay for. Residence Les Aiglons was a budget choice - by no means luxurious and i was very pleasantly surprised. The place was very clean, amply furnished, but no-frills. For somewhere to spend some of your apres-ski time it was perfect. Expedia's blurb said that no towels or televisions would be provided, but both towels and a remote were supplied upon our arrival by well-mannered, (to my shame) very well English spoken staff members with a good sense of humor. In the comment section in our (mine and my girlfriend's) booking, we stated it was our 4-year anniversary of meeting and subsequently found a bottle of Champagne on our kitchen table - courtesy of the team. Our stay went without a hitch (apart from me nearly loosing my keys - for which there is a 100 Euro replacement charge) and overall we were very impressed. I would definitely stay here again. I'd give this a comfortable 4/5.

“Perfect for ski-ers on a budget”

Clean, central, cosy, close to ski lifts, staff were all lovely. Excellent value for money! Bed was a bit bumpy but nothing major, still had a brilliant holiday! Chamonix Town and eating out are very expensive, so having our own little kitchen was perfect.

“Not as good as expected”

The first night there was NO PILLOWS. Try to sleep without it... The reception had nothing to offer us. The second there was a defect in the water system making such a noise that at 5 am people evacuated thinking it was a fire alarm. NOT IMPRESSED
