“Cool B&B”

I would recomend to stay here just to feel the spirit of the beggining of the 20th century.

“We'd stay again.”

I was a bit concerned after reading other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The house was very interesting with many nooks and crannies, twists and turns, knickknacks. The room itself had much more character than a sterile, cookie-cutter chain hotel room, which is all I've had experience with in the past. The fireplace kept the room toasty and the hostess also provided a space heater just in case, though we didn't need it. It took a long time before we got hot water in the shower the first time, but once we figured it out it was OK. The hostess may be somewhat formal, and perhaps just a touch on the eccentric side, but she was engaging and helpful and accommodating.
